Wow! That looks pretty badass dude!
I'm curious? Can you export to STL?
Maybe we could 3D print some of that stuff?

STL is a format right?
I'll check what formats I can get to in a moment... STL? Yes I can. But its a case of I need to tell sculprtis to extraqct to obj and go into blender and from there extract to STL

For now enjoying rigging another model

If you want, I could 3D print some of the things for you? I'd be perfectly happy printing a skeleton!

Try Sculptris, very nice tool for learning to make models.

With regards to the STL format.. my 3D workflow can pretty much import anything and export it to pretty much anything including STL. Solidworks and all its utilities FTW!!!

I *think* Altium Designer offered a plugin for that from last year with the latest updates. I will check. I don't normally do any printing or machining, I make that the PCB manufacturer's problem.

I actually use sculptris! very useful. Once I made the model i want I then import to blender to do rigging, animation and/or apply floof to body.
Sculptris is quite a fun program to fool around in also.

Her*

And its the result of me "yanking" on all the bones to see if they 1) all remain connected when moving. and 2) all move flesh in the correct way.... neither worked out

The model is for a noodle named Selicia.
Um....
Don't try to find her FA page... And if you do... do not scorn me...

Say you what I think I will.... I will first buy a new microphone.
Then I'll make a tutorial.
But it is a long and hard road.
e.g. episodes would be
Blender basics
blender advanced
Blender special properties
blender rendering
Sculptris basics
Sculptris advanced
Importing sulptris to blender
Blender Rigging
Blender animation

YES
YES
I fucking found it!

I can edit the vertex groups now! (by that I mean I can now make sure that the tongue bone controls only the tongue and not say the jaw. OR. the eye bone controls only the eye and doesn't accidentally move the eyebrows)

I give up. I fucking give up.
I am not making an animation for Selicia...
I am not making an animation for anyone!

I can't do it... ya know I made so much progress and got so many things fixed and figured out with this animation but I... I just can't make it. The program refuses to respond the way I want it and there is no answer as to why. I am at an end. I cannot do it.
...
This shit is broken...

I'm going to try make a different animation... something fun... just for me and I'll make it short. Nothing complex.

Hi... Remember how I said I gave up...
Wellll... I tried again...
...
I am stupid like that ya know... I keep getting up and trying again...

But after 6 hours of testing, trying again and again, this time it worked... In a small test enviroment.

Tomorrow I shall go back to the animation for sel and fix it.

Thank you lee. I find I can get a lot more accurate on proportions in 3d than drawings because I can get a full view.
Sadly I didnt have a live snake to work off of but I had plenty of pictures and websites to read off of
