Fair enough.
I guess that's why those horrible mecer battery box square wave doohickeys are so popular?
Must be, those things can reak havoc on electronics that don't have a good filter, but is quite cheap and easy to just plug in and start using.

They're fine unless you try and use them on something with an induction motor like a fridge or a fan.
Sad thing is most things we use runs on DC

So we convert our AC grid to low voltage DC, Charge some batteries, then boost the low voltage DC to high voltage DC, Then convert that back to AC, Then convert that AC back to high voltage DC to convert it back to low voltage DC. XD

This is exactly why my "router" and nuc have their own little batteries seperate from my inverter, much more efficient to convert DC to DC. :D
Got lucky with those ellies cube LiPO4 batteries and actually got a functional one that has lasted more than 2 years now. They are amazing, but break easy or many defective ones made it through QA, since everyone I know who got one had theirs break in the first month.

Well in an effort to keep this going...

Currently I am practicing some line art, trying to draw a 3 1/4 view of a wolf's head~

I finally managed to program that 2 way radio!
All it took was borrowing a DOS computer from work and some help from Wolfie-DMX

Your work is using DOS computers?

That was a friggen challenge.
First I tried a Windows XP VM.
Then I tried DOSBOX.
Then I tried installing Windows XP on the machine but it didn't have Sata drivers.
So I downloaded a freedos bootable USB ISO, which worked.

I have better radios. But they're at my parents place. And they threatened violence last time we talked. So.

Eeek, that sucks...

No way to mission impossible in there or have an unfortunate breakin happen?

Whoah. Having something lasercut and bent is actually kinda cheap.

I made a rack mount panel for my inverter. It's gonna cost less than R500 to make it.

I have a 240Hz screen which I hardly ever use for game, because I am a coach gamer for life and a 24" screen just does not work for that. :D

Hahahaha! I love couch gaming.
I played Stray on the couch. Steam in home streaming is nice for that. But sometimes it just refuses to work right.
The amount of times I just didn't have audio.

I don't have much of a choice. I haven't gotten paid yet, so I have to make do with what my sister and her husband deign to give us. Kind of unfair, considering that they both get full free meals at their workplaces, and then only toss some scraps our way in the evening.

We have to get out of here.

I know it's unfair from their POV too, since we're a sudden expense for them, but still. You'd think people as rich as them wouldn't be like this about some food. I don't really need much, but it bothers me that they're not giving enough to our mom.

I finally got my firearm licence renewed! It only took a year this time.

Last time it took... Well I want to say 5 years but that'd be a lie. Cause Ibstull haven't gotten it. It was approved they just never gave me my card.

I remember seeing a photo of the firearm applications room or something. Just boxes and stacks of paper covering everything with no apparent organisation.

I'm watching the Antinatalist Advocacy Conference: https://antinatalistadvocacy.org/projects/aac-2023
It's just three talks today and another three tomorrow.
