I made butter chicken last night in the Slow Cooker.
But I think my slow-cooker malfunctioned. Not sure how the heck it could have burned it otherwise?
It's... Salvagable at lease.

The 2 year old threw up all over the couch. I wonder if she ate the lip balm. I'm not being snarky or vindictive here, it's a genuine concern.

Hmmm. Luckly lip balm isn't toxic, but can act as a laxative if I remember correctly, though the cap of some lip balms is a major choking hazard...

Excitement can cause some kids to throw up, if it is a regular occurrence though, thats another matter...

It's official. I've lost another belt size (only two holes left). That's about one belt size every two weeks. At the rate I'm going I'll collapse into a singularity before New Year's, which is cool, I guess.

Yup. Mixed feelings because happy to see the family again and it's a nice change of pace. Not happy with all the things, like loadshedding, that made me want to leave in the first place.
