I'm gonna start preparations to erase my SSD overnight so that I can do a fresh install of normal Arch. I have been using Antergos but it got discontinued and, since I'll need to ship my PC back to South Africa, other people will have access to my PC so it would be good to make sure everything is properly encrypted. Installing Arch will solve all those problems and get rid of any clutter that may have accumulated over time.

Well, there were a few delays and bumps but I've got a basic system working again! Still a lot to get set up properly though.

Spent some of today preparing to pack all my stuff for moving. Moving company will not take any batteries so I have to remove them from everything (including PC). I'm wondering what the chances of me being arrested in the airport on suspicion of smuggling batteries is going to be. x.x

It legit is. It's so bad. and I did it again yesterday. But fortunately my boss has bought a MacBook Pro. knowing him he will keep it for himself because hes a spoilt little rich kid so i'll get the hand me down but beggers cant be choosers. If I get the cool new laptop bonus, if I don't at least I have a working laptop that isn't the hell machine or my own poor personal laptop that is struggling.

I'm back in South Africa. Positive in some ways, negative in others. Only been back two days and I'm already frustrated by the complete inefficiency of most services, e.g. waited about 50 minutes at the bank and letters from government departments that actually leave out half of the requirements they want you to bring. But I've got my old PC running again and can slowly start getting my life here organised.

Had an awesome ride this morning on India, a lovely grey mare. Took my ex's sister out and it was so awesome. I haven't ridden in 6 months, and im aiming for the Mongol Derby in 3 years time so need to get so super riding fit!

Had a reeeeaaaally weird issue with a client today.
Appearently her TV Box transmitted as such a high level it desensitised the antenna of her router and nothing else worked. Don't buy cheap garbage.

I went horse riding with my sisters. First time in a bit over six years that I've been on a horse. But it was a very slow walk with a very placid horse so that was good, especially since I had no saddle and just a blanket.

I heard them say "monster" but I can't follow much Japanese. I suppose the trailer makes a lot more sense if you have read the manga or understand Japanese! :p

There was probably some power there but I only went on a walk (been years since I rode) and the horse was super lazy. Mostly it was just following my sister who was walking another horse and she had to circle every now and then so mine could catch up it was dawdling so slowly.
