I got new glasses today. The woman at the shop adjusted them to fit differently to the previous ones and I dunno if I like the change. But I should wait a few days to see if I get used to it. Also the prescription changed a bit so I need to adjust to that as well.

Excited anxiety is a thing.
Leaving home on 12 December, staying for about 6 weeks or so, might be longer, might be less.

Did you know there are two copies of the Egyptian Book of the Dead in Vienna? One in hieroglyphics and one in hieratic. I found out about it and so I went to see them yesterday. There's a whole papyrus museum! Some of it is a bit depressing, rental contracts, wills and that sort of thing. :/

DHL kept giving everyone the wrong tracking numbers, withholding products because of disagreements between Romania and the ports... they just made the process hell.

Like you know when you spend an afternoon with a friend who've only met once, but you immediately connect and you 2 spend literally hours (we were in a hospital waiting for her to get some meds for toothache to be fair) like... 5 hours chatting and it never gets awkward or you run out of things to talk about...

I found a new moving company who is like half the price of the old one. It's still more than I expected but it's tolerably more. To the extent that the stress and effort it will save me is probably worth more than the cost.
