All the while idly planning a colony and taking bounties to hunt in Star Sector.

feeling pretty annoyed. Spent ages yesterday transferring my music over to my new phone and even tho it uses the same player as the old phone, it play about 5 songs and says the rest are "unsupported"

There's a reprint on Pocket of an interesting article about social media (particularly the like button) and the web. It talks about how engagement with content has led to a decrease in quality and why. I found it really interesting and it also supports why I think forums are a better medium for deep discussion on a topic that you don't usually get in chat rooms or on Twitter. It's not that I've never seen them there but their structure works against it.

First episode of Beastars is out! The use of CG was a bit weird at first, kind of like Ajin, but you get used to it after the first few minutes, and it looks like the technology has improved by leaps and bounds since then. The fact that this was made by the same people who did Houseki no Kuni probably has something to do with that. I'm a huge fan of the Beastars manga, so I'm hoping the anime will do it justice. Looking good so far!
