Well I just subscribed to a VPN service. That's something to play around with now. Now the question is how much of an effect it has on my gaming ping. But I can also do some split tunnelling option and exclude Steam from the VPN if I need to.

Edit: 54ms in CS:GO deathmatch. Definitely higher than before. That works out to 3-4 frame delay, I think. I used to sometimes get single digit latency but this is certainly playable; I mean I did best on my team and got the third highest score overall.

Well, that is systems engineering to me. No maths. No design. No creative thinking or problem solving. It is just pure rote memorization of processes, structures and procedures.

Yes I have, actually. For some mind-boggling reason (that reason being professional registration requirements, which, spoiler alert, I never had to do) my undergrad degree had to include... Business Ethics. The classroom was full of law and accounting students, and us 10-odd BSc's wondering WTF we were doing there. Thankfully the (at the time heavily pregnant) lecturer understood our predicament and was lenient with us when it came to the businessy stuff. We just had to know Kant and friends really well and that was enough, which wasn't too bad in hindsight. It was a bit of a "Philosophy for Dumb Shits" course.

I am working on catching up on the forum after being away for too long. My PC died a couple of weeks ago, and so far attempts to fix it have fallen flat. Hopefully something can be done with it. XP

And that's the end of VPN experience. Had the account closed and asked for a refund. It just did not seem stable or reliable enough. Had problems on both Android and Windows. Windows always seemed to be using the VPN even when the application crashed but I just didn't have confidence in it at that point. Especially since I think it crashed every single day that I had it.

Dealing with a post-familial meeting for the past week.
