I just filleted, skinned, deboned and chopped up a whole yellowtail. I love pickled fish and all, but boy was that a lot of work. Now my hands reek of fish and are covered in bloodstains and scales, neither of which want to come off.

My favourite fish is hake. Some people (i.e. my entire family) might find this blasphemous, but I think it's way better than snoek.

Personally I tend to prefer the "ugly" bottom feeders: basa, gurnard, sole, monkfish... yum.
