Being a parent and a furry

#1

Post by Baz »

Hay guys, here is a question I could not really find much on, but there is a lot the other way around.

I would like to know if anybody is a parent and a furry or know of a parent that is a furry? How is that relationship and what was there experiences? I guess I want to know things like, do they still goof around in suit in front of them and watch all the same Disney shows and cartoons etc? Or what do you think you would feel if your parents came out as furry?

Strange topic I know, but look forward to hearing your thoughts. ;)

EDIT: Sorry, I think I opened this in the wrong section. Probably belongs in "Furry Chat", *doh

Hmm...to me being a furry and a parent but it seems actually super awesome cause to me I have never actually met a parent that will be there and watch movies that kids would like and enjoy it with their kids.

Erdwolf as well, I think he's at least thought about it as well. You can also have a look at a youtube channel called Moms of furries :3

Please. There's only one way to be a furry parent.

Thanks guys, I did listen to the Moms of furries podcast, really interesting. Thanks for putting that one together. It did seem more on the parents accepting there child as a furry rather than there child accepting there parent? Might need another listen and check out there youtube channel, I might have missed something.

I have not seen Arty Loop active in awhile? Maybe he will see this thread and comment.

Yeah, he isn't a furry anymore and he personally told me that cause of "drama" (-_-). So still...haven't met a furry parent...'cept Baz though.

That is amazing, congratulations!

As for furry parents, I know a couple here in the US. I think their kids are pretty young still, though.

Hey,

This is right up my alley... I'm married to a non-furry and we have two kids. 3yo girl and 2yo boy.

To be honest furry isn't very high on my agenda... More a matter of keeping them fed and educated :)

I want to raise them sex-positive and open minded, when they are the appropriate age. I guess that's a good place to start, right?

My girl often sits with me whilst I'm online, and I'll show her pictures of cute animal people.

And we have a lot of furry movies on the PVR. Their favorite is "Sing".

Feel free to contact me on Telegram if you want to ask anything specific.

I'm a bit late in on this post, as far as I know QFox is also a parent of kids older 8 I think he has even made a head for his son.
