Why is ZAFur important to you?

The place to talk about anything just generally furry. If you have a furry-related thread that doesn't fit anywhere else, put it here! Just keep it clean.

By all means Obsidian, make a thread of interest and people will engage with it. :P

Ya know, Randall, the only person being a 'butt-hurt drama queen' on the forum right now is you. This thread was not an invitation for you to air your gripes with the administrators.

If you want to complain, go and make a thread in venting and support about how you're 40 years old and are entitled to post with impunity; or how admin should have given you the sysadmin position, alright? I just got Rakuen to move Sev's personal rant into venting and support: I don't see why I need to go ask him again to come fish another turd out of the punch-bowl.

I'm sorry I'm confused.. There are so many contradictions in what you just said.. that it has just left me confused.. perhaps it is these type of posts that most likely lead to the admins declining your request to become an admin yourself wouldn't you agree? Also age does not entitle you to have some sort of immunity. If you were reprimanded, It was probably for good reason. And I believe that this type of post you made is not welcome on Ryalls thread.

At least not this thread anyway, just because it is directly counterproductive to the purpose of this thread. Most of my other threads are open-ended.

Since this thread popped up I've been pondering what I could say here. Seeing all the different responses got me thinking. A lot. In fact I wrote a whole wall of text before realising that what I wrote was way too personal to post here, so I made a V&S thread instead.

There is turd in the punch bowl? Wow, Ryall, I am not sure what sort of parties you have attended... I wonder what was in the Doritos bowl.

I understand your offense, Sev. Perhaps it could have been put more mildly... Still, tense things are said during tense times. Let us not think too much of it. :)

By the way, Sev, not to stray off-topic, but have you moved from Arizona? If I may ask, that is.

Ah, I see. Thank you for answering. :) I ask because I read an earlier post of yours, and wrongly assumed you were back in South Africa (my silly mistake). I was about to arrange a welcoming back party for you! Ah, well, we can have one when you do return.

In any case, we may as well allow the others to get back on-topic...

Wrong place, wrong time, and you knew that. Also, I wouldn't take the expression, "turd in a punch-bowl too," too serious. It's rather ridiculous. :P

I don't think that there's ever a right time or place for that kind of thing.
I very much regret writing it; I wish that I wasn't so impulsive.

I'm trying to work on it. I need to.

By the way I would just like to pretty much add to my first post.. I feel that there is something I'd like to say from the bottom of my heart.

I really appreciate every single one of you guys, I know that tension can get to us sometimes, and we all know drama can happen.. but yet because we are such a small community, and things like that happen, I feel that those "negative" things seem more impactful than they are, after all one small bit of negativity can block out a huge wave of positivity, like how one tiny cloud can block the whole of the sun. But it's Important to remember that the cloud will go away, sure It may rain, hail or have a huge storm.. but it will always come and go. And well, as the cloud seems to be heading off it got me thinking of how much I simply appreciate everyone on the forums. You're all crazy and unique in your own way, and the community wouldn't very anything without you all. To the admins, to fellow crs, to the members new and old, active or inactive, each of you make the community freaking awesome. And I guess we really tend to forget how appreciative we should be to everyone sometime.

I hope that made sense haha, I kinda felt as though I spewed out my words

I sometimes like to vent here.
Say things that don't belong in places more public.
Its also nice to see other vents because you get to see a diffident side of people.
