today I woke up late... oops, and made a mad dash to get to waterloo station. from there I took a hours trainride to an adorable little town called Basingstoke... which has a furmeet of roughly twenty people whenever they can, at the bowling centre near the leisure centre (it has a water park, sky diving room - weird - ice skating rink and Odean - cinema). there a bunch of fursuiters bowled terribly, I met more fursuiters including a blue bunny and the evil purple broken rabbit from Five Nights at Freddies, he even had the scream!!!

we had pizza and had so much fun and I learned that these guys travel from like an hour to two hours away to attend meets (whats wrong with you bunch in SA... I mean come one ... JK)

I want to go to the Southhampton meet when it happens, and maybe the next Oxford meet. I'll be missing the next London meet because of work but I will make a plan to get to the Xmas meet...

I love that one because you can see two awesome landmarks in it, St. Pauls Cathedral which is one of the most stunning pieces of architecture on the planet and the Millenium Bridge which is just as cool and kind of freaky to cross

So on the 21st of December I will be flying to Dublin to go spend a week with my cousins in a small village called... Belleeks... pronounced Bleak... which considering the size of it (please go google map this place)

It's adorable. I've been there once when my dad and sis came out... it's got two pubs on this one little like... bend in the road... ones run by this old lady and has a grocery too, and then the others run by an old man... and your either the kind of person to go to the lady, or to go to the man

also the road just up from our house is half in the Republic of Ireland and half in Northern Ireland (so the UK) which is quite funny to me, but a pretty serious thing in Ireland because of the troubles (sounds so mysterious but it's major political unrest and is pretty serious)...

It's possible it may snow but there isn't a guarantee, for some reason I've managed to get really good weather to come visit England and it's neighbors... like literally its expected to be one of the warmest Christmas' in history... but that's fine... I'll get snow in January most likely... I don't need a white Christmas (she says behind teary eyes)...

I don't get much signal up there, because EE is retarded and even though they cover it, their rates are frikken heavy man... but its cool, I'll try check in when I can on peoples wifi...

I am also trying my darndest to get someone to swap a shift with me for next weekend so I can go to the LondonFur Christmas Party, which is Valhalla themed... it's very cool and I hope I can get there...

otherwise I'm going to try meet an Irish fur or two if I can... though Belleeks is like slap bang in the middle of nowhere, almost equal lengths between Belfast and Dublin...

Try uhh... I think it was called "Typhoo".
It's like two quid for 160 bags at Iceland.
Not sure if it's exactly the same, but seemed similar enough to me.

Otherwise at least one of the big Tescos (the superstore in Hackney) has a small South African section, where they sell biltong and Rooibos, for all of us who have fled ZA =P

My Tesco in Upton Park has an SA section. I live on Spur French Fry and Salad Dressing. Is classic. Legit Classic. It makes me laugh because the neighbourhood is extremely muslim and most of the meat is Halal (instead of a small halal section we have a small separate sign posted "non-halal" section with bacon in it) and I GET BILTONG
