Maybe you guy do this, but it sure irritates me to hell.
Lol for me it's the opposite.. irritates me when it's put in the fridge xD .. the hard butter keeps breaking my bread

So best left out so it's not hard.

Actually the butter rarely melts to the oil that you'd find in a pan. >_> If you're so upset about butter being outside, then use margarine.

I get annoyed (but also somewhat amused) when my dad consistently mispronounces simple words.

A few examples:
Hobo (oboe)
Vee-hick-yule (vehicle)
Rowbit (robot)
Linkadink (LinkedIn)
Subbabin (suburban)
Sawlmin (salmon)
Troot (trout)

My dad says garrage (garage) and yog-ert (yoghurt)

but thats the way the British pronounce...

I have an uncle who pronounces "batterye" (batteries) as "bêtriexe".
He also says "Britlanders" and "ag-en-tag-en-tagentagentig".

I am a secret grammar nazi, can't handle it when something is spelt wrong. I make mistakes sometimes myself but my grammar isn't bad.

Smoking is a disgusting habit that harms too many, and its even worse when you smoke in front of other people (selfish), smoking in your car (GG resale value), and especially in front of your children or at an educational facility (this happens FAR too often).

I dont care if people smoke (I do it on occassion) I care that they need to try harder at becoming green.

If people cant quit then they cant quit. we have no right to judge their life choices... like people who ride bikes...

Now now. This shouldn't be a place where anyone's life choices and lifestyles get put under the microscope.
That's the kinda thing that's just unnecessary.

Moving along with pet peeves.
How about comical socks? Or people who wear socks and sandles together. Eww
