Lol, I know you take pride in it. I have my first year accounting students next semester for some classes. I respect the profession. :P

Another pet peeve: When people visit my house and have a problem with my dog on my bed or in my room. The dog stays here you don't get over it.

People who write purely sexual stories on SoFurry and then mark it as "General" or "All Ages". This is against the rules (obviously) because there are under-18's who browse the sight, but there is another reason that affects me directly.

I (and a great many other clean writers) work incredibly hard to get noticed. Any idiot can write a terrible sex scene filled to bursting with spelling and grammatical errors and still get a bunch of faves and 5-star votes simply because it has yiff in it.

My story is almost always hovering somewhere in the "Most Popular" list on SF, but only in SFW mode. As hard as I work, my story has never been visible on that list in NSFW mode, and I've made my peace with that. But when some jerk writes a yiff story and labels it as "All Ages", it takes a spot away from a hard-working clean writer who focuses on plot and actual story instead of a bunch of poorly strung together sex scenes, a writer who has to scratch and claw for every view.

It all just feels terribly unfair to me.

If you see stories like that then you should also report them.

Since he's an author, it should be bothering him even more.

Oh FFS, I was angry when I wrote that, okay? There's another pet peeve right there. People go around writing stuff like: "i lik u your awsum", but every time I make a mistake (which is rare) people have to point it out because I'm a writer. If I did that to every post I saw, this entire forum would be filled with editorial notes.

This question directed to my behaviour. "Why?"

It burns a little bit on my rage fuse.

Why don't you like sushi?
Why don't you like this?
Why are you a furry?
Why are you a coaster enthusiast?
Why don't you like hardstyle?
Why don't you like that girl?
Why, why, why?

I'm sorry. But it is really something that irritates me. I have an eye for spelling mistakes. When I read something, I usually know when a word is spelled wrong. Though, I don't always know how to correct it... It really, really irritates me when I know something is spelled wrong, but I don't know how to correct it

People dimming the lights then switching them off, or just dimming the lights in the overall. It's fine for watching a movie but I prefer the lights off or on then not dimmed.

I hate it when people cannot see the beauty in all animals... I love all animals (even though i shriek like a girl when a spider crawls too close to my five meter bubble... and dont get me started on centipedes)... but animals are all precious and deserve love...

i miss my rat... i know i have her sister but i miss Kia too...

Damn it why do powers come with responsibilities? I could have so much fun on this forum if I didn't have to behave... The temptation to edit Yotefox's sentence and just insert one of my own in the middle is so strong.

Blueprint is a primitive method of copying technical drawing!
Its called a manufacturing drawing!
Or technical drawing!
Or building plans!
Or piping scedule!
Or fuck you!
Its not a blueprint!
Aaaaagagagaggahgagha!

Metalhead and deadbeat don't even go together. Many Metalheads are actually quite educated and well off.

Rap fan and deadbeat would be more appropriate.

Ahh! they used SAT scores... Ok...
An Average SAT score is around 1490
So... Everyone that listens to music with the exception of Beethoven is dumb?

The conclusion I would draw from that would be that people that spend too much time on Facebook posting their music preferences have low SAT scores?

My pet peeve would be this:

i must confess, I really, really hate being wrong. I don't just mean incorrect, I mean bad. This has led to me usually using a lot non-definite words, like "usually", or "maybe", for the slight chance that I'm wrong.

If I make a mistake, I'll usually correct myself. I'd also usually apologise to people involved, usually to the point of annoyance. And if I'm right, and someone else is wrong, I'd tell and explain to them that they're wrong, and most people would still insist they're not even when I've explained in a logical way why they're wrong... Sometimes it'd turn out that I was actually wrong, but I try to take responsibility.

My major pet peeve would be relatives who think its okay for the butter to not go in the fridge. They just let it melt on the kitchen counter, simply because 'its too hard if it stays in the fridge'

Maybe you guy do this, but it sure irritates me to hell.
