I'll just stay around Zee_Etanutrofnu and Punk-Fox-Dot-Com; what? A guy needs to feel tall at least once in his life(plus, they're both awesome)!
Clearly you have not seen my post... NOT TALL! Punk and Zee are awsome... Love being around Punk, makes me look tall.

Just rallying the troops, I guess - maybe I'm corrupting them. Glad to have you back though. ;)

1.96m... It's kinda cool cause you can zone out on everyones hair and you always see the stage at concerts.
But try finding a pair of jeans that doesn't show your ankles.... impossible

1.96m... REALLY?? I've never felt that small standing next to you, I'm only 1.68 I usually feel minute stamding next to anyone over about 1.75.
Very decieving... *mutters to himself walking away scratching head*

Hey, so I went for a medical check up recently and as it turns out I have shrunk. Well, not really, I just don't know where I got the figure 186cm from.

My actual height is 182cm. :P
Hahaha!

Time might be a factor. We're all taller in the mornings than we are in the evenings because gravity squashes us down during the course of the day. (Not joking.)

A 4cm differential is a bit extreme to try blame on poor innocent gravity...

Actually, the difference in height can be as extreme as 2,5cm (depending on how tall you are). The rest of Ryall's height might have been lost as a result of his footwear and/or hairstyle.

Interesting fact: astronauts can "grow" up to 7,5cm taller in space. :geek:

Old people also shrink as the combined effect of gravity all their lives starts to compress the cartilage in their spines.

Edit: Wow, it's quite substantial. Women in their 80s can lose up to 7,6 cm of height!

I'm somewhere around 1.73m (5'8) but haven't bothered in ages.

Here's an easy way to measure yourself without a chart or stadiometer: stand with your back against a wall with a small box or hardcover book and pencil in your hands. Put the box/book with a long side vertically flat against the wall above your head. Slide it down until it touches your head, then use the pencil behind your head to mark the spot on the wall just under the edge of the box/book. You can now measure the height to the mark with a tape measure or ruler.

Do you dwarf everyone around you? In that case, you might just be almost 2 meters tall. Otherwise, I'm going to say that the latter is more likely.
