Hiya! Blueberry here :)

Hiya everyfurry!

I'm new to these Forums. A furry looking for a suit, and a commissions artist looking for work.

Outside the suit I'm a Commissions Artist and I grow carnivorous plants for a living. I mostly stay in doors all day and I love to play games. Blueberry, my fursona, is heavily based off my personality since I first came up with him when I was 15 and didn't want to make him too different from me currently.

I'm very socially awkward, so sorry if I'm not making a very good introduction post. But I'm a friendly furry who wants to make friends, draw, and start suiting. :D

Hello, new fur.

Carnivorous plants, you say?

I used to have quite a few Venus Fly Traps and Sundews back in the day; always hunted for a Pitcher Plant, but could never find one.

What do you have?

Hello and welcome to the forum, Blueberry! :D

I am Galahad, local Jurassic World escapee. 'Blue'... You share the name of one of the other raptors I was with there! She was quite a fine girl...
On a serious note, though, I hope you enjoy your stay here. It's always wonderful to see another new face, and especially to see one that is artistically inclined! Your first post, in the introduction forum, and you already have a ref sheet!

Hi new person. There are a few fursuit makers here, such as YoteFox, Jake Dane, Niexie, and Nasheera. Try getting in touch with them.

That would have been helpful to have known at the time.

But the heyday of this particular hobby was at least 12 years back.

Hey blueberry, welcome to, uh... this. Yes, this is a cool place!

I got a quick look over your art! It looks really great, I'll keep you in mind if anyone I know needs a commission.

Otherwise, uh, have fun meeting all these furs. They're great to hang out around.

(Psssst! Blue! It's awesome that you're replying to everyone, but it is better to reply all in one post. :) You can copy and paste the text from each post and enclose it in quote tags. Multiple posts are discouraged, I'm afraid. As it is now, the staff might merge your posts into one. We have to give Rakuen something to do around here, don't we? :P)

I started last year, september. I got a very young Nepenthe and a baby Venus Fly Trap from a nursery. Sadly they were both in poor health when I got them and being inexperienced meant that I couldn't save them so they died by January. It was only around May that I got my current Nepenthe, then July I got all the others. I used my time after my last two died to gain more knowledge and learn more about them and what to do in every type of situation so I'd be ready for when I started up again.

Hi there, Falconcommand!

Glad you like them. I like some aquatic plants too, though the ones I'm after are called Waterwheels. They're a carnivorous plant similar to a Venus flytrap in the fact that try have traps. They grow in a forever spiral of one side dying and the other side growing, and they're very fast growers. They're extremely rare and almost considered endangered because they have a hard time producing seeds and their diet is mainly water fleas and mosquito Larvae. I want one one day, but I have to find them first and make a nice place for them to stay with lots of water fleas that will feed it andnkeep algae away from it since water wheels hate algae.
