Greetings ZAFUR!

I am normally nervous when meeting new people and are therefore not very good at introductions but here it goes:

First off, I would like to thank Tocs for the warm welcome.

My Name is Stretch and I am a newbie to the furry fandom.Although I am not a furry myself I think that they are awsome.
I was pleasantly surprised to discover that South-Africa has a furry community of its own because I honestly didn't think there were any furries out here.

Some of my hobbies are:

Video Games
Watching Anime
Playing Guitar
Reading

I am looking forward to making many new friends here.

Animew wrote:<w< an otaku desuka? welcome welcome, hope you'll find your voice here since its just us new animals out here. OwO so what kinda anime you like?
At the moment I am watching the original Naruto series I only have twenty episodes left to go.I have heard Death Note and Attack On Titan are pretty good so I might try one of those next.

Other anime that I liked include:

Black Lagoon
Hellsing Ultimate
Eureka Seven
Bleach
One Piece

Are there any anime that you can recommend?

I looked up Demi-chan wa Kataritai and it looks quite interesting.I also see that the anime just recently started.

Ah, I remember the days I should have spent studying for exams, but ended up watching Naruto instead. My favourite character has got to be Skikamaru. I can always identify with how ridiculously lazy he is.
But if you want the best viewing experience you really should watch it without the fillers. They nearly strangled the whole franchise.

Death Note is one of those "love it or hate it" anime, but everyone should watch it at least once, imo.

Attack on Titan is amazing. It has great music, animation, and intense story-telling.

OMG, Hellsing Ultimate! Alexander Anderson is such a badass!
"Ask of me, and I shall give thee the heathen for thine inheritance, and for thy possession, the ends of the earth. Thou shalt break them with a rod of iron. Thou shalt dash them in pieces, like a potter's vessel. Be wise now therefore, ye kings. Be admonished, ye judges of the earth. Serve the Lord with fear and rejoice with trembling. Kiss the son lest he be angry, and ye perish in the way, though his wrath be kindled but a little."

My favourite part in Hellsing Ultimate was probably when Seras dual-wielded the two Harkonnen anti-tank cannons and the music starts to ramp up and damn it's all just so badass!

Bleach was pretty good, too. But I liked it better at the start. After a while it all just seemed to devolve into a series of repetitive fights.
Stretch wrote:Are there any anime that you can recommend?
Hellz yeah! It depends on what you're into, though.

1. Steins;Gate - My favourite anime of all time. Must watch. Has lots of time travel and moral dilemmas.
2. Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood - Another great all-rounder. Must watch.
3. Elfen Lied - Super gory and with a lot of nudity.
4. Usagi Drop - A sweet slice of life anime about a dude who suddenly needs to take care of his six-year-old aunt.
5. Boku Dake ga Inai Machi - More time travel.
6. Drifters - If you liked Hellsing, you'll like this. It was made by the same guy.
7. Hataraku Maou-sama - Fantasy comedy.
8. Monster Musume no Iru Nichijou - Super ecchi, but also super funny and filled with cute monster girls.
9. High School DxD - Lots of nude demons in this one.
10. High School of the Dead - A realistic zombie apocalypse anime, but also with a ton of ecchi moments.
11. Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress - A bit like Attack on Titan, but with zombies and trains.
12. Kiznaiver - Difficult to sum this one up. It's about an experiment on emotions and the connections between people.
13. One Punch Man - Action/comedy parody. Very good.
14. Mob Psycho 100 - Like One Punch Man (made by the same guy) but with psychics instead of super heroes.
15. Noragami - Gods and living weapons and fights with supernatural spirits.
16. Re: Zero Kara Hajimeru Isikai Seikatsu - Brilliant anime about a guy who gets transported into a fantasy realm.
17. Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso - Music anime, very emotional.
18. Shokugeki no Soma - Cooking anime. Better than it sounds.
19. Silver Spoon - Made by the same person who did Fullmetal Alchemist. It's about an agricultural school.
20. Arslan Senki - Also by the same person who did Fullmetal Alchemist. It centres mostly around military combat.
21. Tokyo Ghoul - About ghouls in Tokyo.
22. Ajin - It's about immortals.
23. Aku no Hana - Psychological thriller.
24. Soul Eater - Also difficult to sum up. Has a lot of supernatural fights and living, transforming weapons.
25. Samurai Champloo - Samurai and lots of sword fights.
26. Another - Horror.
27. Dusk Maiden of Amnesia - This has a lot of ecchi moments, but the story gets really deep and touching.
28. When They Cry - Don't be fooled by the kiddy art style. This is straight-up horror.
29. Psycho-Pass - Psychological crime thriller with a bit of sci-fi.
30. Shigurui - Samurai action drama.

Those are some of the ones I liked. Maybe you'll like them, too. ^_^

Ack! I totally forgot about Boku no Hero Academia! If you like Naruto, you'll like that one, too. The author is a huge fan of Kishimoto Masashi's work and took a lot of inspiration from Naruto.

ah... hm, i think Contrast got them all.. (/<w<)/ except for:

kill la kill: comedy/action/sci-fi (insanity meets anime with a splash of kinkiness)
magipoka: magical girl/comedy (so much win)
Muromi-san: comedy/fantasy (it has adorable)

acourse there are many others like galaxy angels, exel saga, slayers and ranma that i'd recommend but they might be a tad old for you young wiper snappers... also i'm too lazy to make a big list like contrast did...
seriously wtf is up with that, contrast!? I'M the animu cat around here! whudaryou like the... the... animu BAT now? Lol.

Thanks for all the cool recommendations Contrast. I actually saw Elfen Lied back when animax was still on and It was pretty good.
Too bad that awful Sony Max replaced it.
