Hey All

The name is Richard. Ummm... a bit about myself. I enjoy reading, eating, sleeping and many of the common traits I'm sure we all love. I'm a bit of a tinkerer and love spending the weekends in the garage. I'm not brand new to the fandom but just been hovering offstage for the past year or 2. Looking to make some new friends and just enjoy myself.

Oh and shout out to all my peeps from Durban!

Ooh, tinkerers, Me thinks you and Adagio will get along well haha.

Again, Welcome, pull up a spot and make yourself at home.
If you take your marker and connect this dot to that one, that one to this one here you will get a really annoyed dalmatian.

Hahaha! Yup! That was the first thing that caught my eye!

So! Tell me! What projects are we talking! I want to know every bit so I can implement it in my evil plan to take over the world...
Forget I said that...

Anyway! Welcome new dragon! Tell us a bit more about yourself?

Yes fair enough, but you "Returned" it minus the cash.

*checks pocket* It's still there.

Thanks guys for the warm welcome, kinda caught me off guard. Wow!

Directed to you Adagio: Tinkering hey, is your garage/ room overflowing with items that no one but you see as valuable? It's really quite bad.... I enjoyed my ironmongery and even did a bit of old school blacksmithing. I've got half opened amps I'm trying to fix, and tools. Just an amass of tools. It really is quite a problem. Currently I'm looking at trying my hand at making a few steampunkish items :D

As for myself, I'm quite an introvert. Love people but when I reach my 'enough of these god damned humans, just go away" limit I kinda shy away. Love political debates, good laughs and as I said, dark humour

Well I recently managed to get my hand on a mountain load of copper recently (I didn't steal it, I swear... and no the blackouts were just a coincidence ....) I was thinking of a making a new case for my saxophone. All the panels like a dark wood veneer with all the trimming being stainless steal and polished copper.

Any other suggestions for my dragon's hoard of copper?

Hello and welcome to the forum, Richard! :D It is always wonderful to see a new face around here. I am Galahad, the resident dinosaur (though, because this is a fairly new username of mine, some still refer to me using my previous name, "Azure")

I took the liberty of browsing through your profile page, and it would seem you and I share quite a bit in common! We are both "scalies", have a love for the fantasy genre and - if you do enroll as a mechanical engineering student at Tuks next year - we will be in the same program at the same university.

I hope you enjoy your time spent here, and would love to talk with you sometime soon - whether via private messages here on the forum, via Skype, or over a cup of tea in person!

I was a bit surprised at the professional quality of it.
I don't think that I've often seen people here take some other person's 'sona as their avatar.

Lots of people joining don't have art of their own yet so they just 'take one off google' or some other art site until they figure something out for themselves. Others just use an existing character cause 'this fits well enough' like Helios did.
