That is the best I could draw a dragon on my tablet and if it looks like a lizardman then so be it.

The ears. I am not a herpetologist, but, as far as I am aware, no lizards have ears, whereas dragons have been depicted many times with ears.
Alternatively, if one interprets those two parts as horns instead, it still holds - I know of no lizard that has only two distinctive horns like that.

Above all, however, what distinguishes it is the artist's word. If he says it is depicting a dragon, it is depicting a dragon.

Several lizards have internal ears, a tympanic membrane outside that allows them to hear quite a range get of sound. so it's not conventional ears but has allowed me to clicker train a bosc monitor and a few crocodiles.

A question I'm needing to ask, directed at the scaly fursonas is, Do you have an inherent love if reptiles that directed and guided you to your fursona or is it something that came about from an unrelated source?
