:roll: Well this is completely new. Let's go then.
I am quite new to this world, though I've been a fan for quite some time, so pardon novice mistakes :lol:
I enjoy spending time with people, though not at clubs or bars. You meet much more interesting people at everyday places. I love dancing, though I'm not as good as I wish I'd be hehe. Books are awesome but series is fun too.

Basically take it slow with me and we'll be great friends.
Remember you don't dump a cat in water, you've got to ease them in. Unless they scratch you ;)

Cheers then!

My major is Ancient Culture Studies, with a minor in Archaeology then I'm studying Italian at the Embassy. I love it! Though people look at me funny when I say: "I can't wait to get back to my dead people."

That sounds like something Temperance Brennan would say. :lol: I see you're into mythology, which culture's is your favourite? Everyone knows the Greco-Roman and Egyptian myths, but personally I've always found Middle Eastern legends more intriguing... but that's probably just because I like to be different. :P

Yep! I've been reading about the stuff since the fourth grade. Mum was a bit worried though hehe. I want to specialize in Greco-Roman, because I find their histories and myths the most comic, but I am fascinated by all culture's folklore/myths/legends. In my spare time I like to read up on societies not covered in my course. It's a great way to get paper ideas. Recently the Celtic and Germanic people have caught my attention. They're not nearly as well researched as most, unfortunately. We luckily cover the middle east in the course, currently we're busy with the Epic of Gilgamesh and the narratological aspects thereof. There's always fun stuff to look up. :D

Welcome. Rome was not built in one day, but you would be surprised how fast creatures get settled in here. At first they're scared, timid things. The next minute they're laying on the couch and eating off the table.

Ciao!

Hehe thanks Adagio. Maion is fine. Locks? What Locks? :shock:

My Favorite series are: Futurama, Family Guy, Big Bang Theory, CSI, NCIS, Lie to Me, The Mentalist, Charmed and many more.

Books: Authors: Rick Riordan, Trudi Canavan, Raymond E. Feist, Pittacus Lore, Kate O'Hearn, P.C. and Kirstin Cast, Christopher Paolini, Suzanne Collins, J.K. Rowling and then I have about a hundred books on history, ancient weaponry and mythology.

I may have a problem... :lol:

Forensic Anthropology is very interesting! And as a bonus you can work on both modern and ancient corpses :D.

@Vox
Thanks! It's such an interesting topic, isn't it? I like to think of it as old gossip being reopened for discussion since all the people that could be offended by it are already dead. :) And it's some goooooooood gossip. lol

@Randall
Thanks. Yeah as they say every family tree is full of nuts.

QUICKLY! BOARD UP THE DOORS AND WINDOWS! He hasn't realised he walked into a trap yet!!

I find most comedy shows shallow... But The Big Bang Theory is awesome! I love it!
CSI IS PAINFUL TO WATCH! It's like they think you're some kind of idiot that only eats MacDonalds and watches TV all day like Ameri... Ummm... Nevermind...

NCIS on the other hand! ~holds up a paw~ Niiice!
Say! Rule #9?
And remember, a slap to your face is an insult, a slap to the back of the head is a sign of affection!

I like Clive Cusslers work. But these days my reading material is limited to Grobbs Basic Electronics and Applied Mathematics...
Haha! Wish I had more time to read...

Hahahaha! Nah! Thats not a problem!

Another lion joins the fray! You bunch of maned posers! You're not the kings of the jungle! You don't even live in the jungle! One day it will be the hyenas' day to shine!

Anyway, hello and welcome! I hope you enjoy your stay and make some friends!

You mentioned 'Star Wars' as being amongst your favorite games? Would that be Star Wars: KOTOR, The Old Republic, or Star Wars Battlefront? What other games do you play?

Cheers! :)

Welcome to the forums Romey! I've seen you've already caught the attention of tons of furs (including a certain jealous hyena.. He just wants a mane ignore him).

@Adagio
As long as there's no straight-jacket or something that restricts my tail I won't run just yet lol.
That's why I like it when the comedy is combined with something. For instance Charmed had a great storyline and then the one-liners were amazing. My favorite being: "Be vewy,vewy quiet. We're hunting demons." CSI is nice for me because of all the extra tidbits of info along the way. I usually research some of the stuff they talk about. Like the episode of miracle fruit on CSI: New York. It's been a while since I've watched any CSI though.

Regarding NCIS *Holds up paw as well* High five! Ducky, Abby and Gibbs will always be my favorites. Mark Harmon is an amazing actor. What does Clive Cussler write about? I need a new series of books. :D

@Cape_FOX
'Might' you say?

@Ryall
We didn't coin that phrase. Not sure who did actually... New research topic! Anyway maybe "they" mixed us up with Jaguars? Luckily the Savannah and Grasslands are always there for us.

Thanks for the welcome! Regarding my favorite Star Wars games that would be D. (Or if you have chemistry H.) all of the above. I've played Fable, Age of Empires, War Craft, Star Craft, Uncharted, Assassin's Creed, Tomb Raider etc. My favorite PS3 games are the Ratchet and Clank series (Ratchet is so cute!!) and Deadpool.

@Faanvolla
Thanks a lot! I'ts looking like it's going to end up that way :D

That's exactly the type of condescending, hyenaphobic attitude I've come to expect from lions and huskies.

FYI, LioneofRome and Tocs,

Those are all cool games, Lion. Do you tend to play more PC or PS3?
