Welcome to Zafur. Hope you enjoy it here.
Don't worry about having a wierd childhood.
I remember mine quite fondly
Even the hard times. Sometime you have to ask the tough questions like. "Daddy, are you sure the whole thing can fit?"

*blushes lightly with a small smile* Well not that I lied just already had a buddy who is really great who broke much of the shyness away giving me reassurance I can find people here who I can open up to and trust

Thanks Fluffy

I am on long term treatment for depression myself. The meds really helped me to get where I am at today, at a level where I am fully sensitive and open to other people. There are certain places I have been going until recently, which haven't been good for me, and have undone a lot of the progress I made, but as per my weekend rant I am breaking the habit for good although I still remain active on Disqus because I am not going to let some journo propagate his agenda and lies to the netizens.

I am in the process of gathering my thoughts to do a proper piece in the appropriate spot to help everyone, but I want you all to remember this: depression is the result of bad life experience most often, and this is a very common problem we face in a country that has a very hostile attitude to intellectually gifted people such as furries. Also, note that, therapists are far more open, and actively encourage one's furry. Well mine did at the very least. She herself was into some pretty interesting stuff :)

I would say that's rather impressive.
I... Well I decide to try my best and share as much as I can... And everyone here so far is supportive and it brings me comfort... So I guess I'll ask a admin to change my name from "shy unknown fluffy" to "Rikkun Kitsu SoftPaws" for who I am... I need a change in my life and I believe this is a start

I was on my meds... I made a decision most unwise and got off of my meds this year... I have been on antidepressants since 2007 with little to no progress because of my drug resistance levels... But therapy really helps its been helping a whole lot after all that has happened in my life in grateful to have gotten chronic depression instead of diabetics which is also caused by a very bad life experience

Leeward threatened me and another fur when I joined saying "if I don't have an avatar picture soon, I'll be forced to pillow fight with another fur while balancing on a beam above the crocodiles..."
For the most part, it is pointless to be sad in life.

Well now that's threatening although if that's to be the case I'm very good at hide and seek *giggles* but I'll get a avatar up sometime

I really have no idea for any avatar... None what so ever but fighting over a tight rope seems fun enough for me... But seriously seriously I have no clue of an avatar
