Hello Lovehate24. Welcome to the forum.

If you wanna be a furry it's really as simple as to just classify yourself as one. There isn't really anything to it given that you enjoy the idea of anthropomorphic creatures and so forth. Pretty easy going hobby actually.

Seeing that you're here why don't you tell us a bit about yourself. AKA interests, hobbies, what you do for fun?

For fun i like going to movies, party, drinking vodka. Standing out of a crowd.

Still looking for the perfect furry outfit. Though maybe a wolf coz its a looner

Actually they're pack animals based on a family structure of 5-11 individuals.

Please forgive me if I come across as overly harsh, but are you really gay, or is that something you selected simply because you perceive it to be a characteristic of the fandom?

You're trying too hard. There is nothing that you need to "do" to be a furry. Simply being an appreciator of anthropomorphic animals is enough. If you enjoy furry art or literature, in my mind, you are a furry.

WTF dude?

Anyways. Chef huh, sounds interesting. I love food but hate cooking it lol. Don't take the wolf thing seriously as well, you can be a lone wolf. Is not like anubian Jackals actually exist as well or any anthropomorphic creature for that matter.

I am thinking of getting ears and tails first or what is the best?

There is a reason that I wrote that line. In this case, to quote Linkin Park: and the fault is my own, and the fault is my own.

I was not trying to cause offense or shame, I was simply curious about this.

The question still remains in my mind, why do you want to be a furry so badly? Being a furry is more like being a fan of anime than being a theoretical physicist. It's more of a hobby - or a lifestyle - than a life goal.

Once again, forgive my bluntness. You seem like a really nice guy, and I would hate to be responsible for chasing you away.

EDIT: And I am very much a lonewolf; no reason that you can't be as well. ;)

For me being a furry is a life style choice and not only a hobby that a person can turn on and off when there like it.

There is a reason why being a furry is important to me. If you want i can try to explain it to you and then maybe you understand?

Btw i love anime

Explain away. We're a generally accepting bunch.
Also never apologise for being yourself. :D

There is no right or wrong way of being a furry. As long as you enjoy whatever it is you do (and that it isn't illegal) then you can go wild. Get the ears AND the tail, heck get an entire fursuit if you feel like it.

Okey i am going to be very honest and it may come out right or very wrong.

I had a really hard time in hight school, i was openly gay and was bullied to the point when i tried to kill myself.

Its been a couple of years now. But when i put ok a furry on. Then i feel like i am myself the fun loving silly kind of person who jumps and laughs and is happy.

I now its very weird but then i feel alive again.

Sorry

That's not weird at all, it's escapism. Everybody does it, some to a much higher degree than others. I think it's admirable that you've found a completely harmless coping mechanism.

Never really been a open person.

But i would love to chat with other furries. Its just i am more of myself around people with the same interest. If that makes sins in a very weird way.

All that i can say is thanks to all you guys so far

Hey there! Welcome to the forum.
Enjoy your stay.

You should get an avatar. It gives you magic powers. You should also maybe add your interests to your profile.

What are your favourite books, and what is your favourite historical period?

I'm also on Skype under the same name as here. Feel free to add me too, if you'd like, although I'm usually on quite late.
