Hello from a Fox

#1

Post by QFox »

Hi All,

Ok, let's see,
I am Furrry new to this and need all the advise, help, direction and what ever else you can give.

Always wondered if there was a local forum, and well, here I am.

A bit about me:

I am shy when I am in a new environment, usually just around to see what is happening and lurking on the fringes. Very nervious while typing, my heart is running!

I don't have any suits and such as I am no good with my hands so looking at someone helping me out there.

Working on a Fursona for a while but like I said, I have had no one else to chat to.

Thanks

First hello yay back on top baby *paw pumps*

Hehe well welcome sure you'll fit in just fine here. My advice is dive in and start chatting to the guys. As for fur suits that’s one thing you won't find many of in SA, although there is a local member who is quite handy with a needle and thread.

And as for character design well that’s the beautify of being a Fur, let you imagination run wild and do your own thing I say.

*pokes his head in* hi there! as has already been stated, welcome and enjoy the madness! I happen to be a fursuit maker and decently priced to boot, so feel free to request my services whenever you want them. I'm also pretty good at creating characters so if you want to maybe brainstorm with me, please do! I'm generally hanging around the forum several times a day so you can always get hold of me, and I'm also on skype a lot if live chat is more your speed! (pm me for skype name, I'm not allowed to put it in public forums)

Hi all,

Been doing a bit of reading and so on, trying to figure out where or who I am, need some advise please.

I am a straight male, but that does not fit the fursona inside and am really shy to actually talk about it. But here goes, I don't see a male fox, but more of a softer, quiter type fursona. Is this a strange or weird thing?

Will I be accepted as such or not?

Its perfectly fine to define yourself as something other than what you actually are, after all, your fursona is an expression of who you are inside. I know of many males who define themselves as female or vica-versa and to be honest, that doesn't really change what I think of the person; after all, why should you be defined by something you had no control over. Be who you really are inside that body of yours and I can guarantee that people will accept you for who you really are.

I have two male fursona's... ones gay and ones straight.... i dont think it's strange at all, i think if thats what you feel inside then thats whats there. if i pretended i was straight i'd miserable ( it took me a while to figure that out however) buts its not a big thing. no matter what, be true to yourself and never forget, the most important thing in life, is to be happy....
