You people sure seem to want a lot of extra features. I'm just not sure they're all really necessary. I mean the whole forum is for chatting in. You can send PM's, use IM's or IRC. Personally I don't think chatting with anyone's a problem.

Oohh, a shout box isnt a bad idea!
I've spoken to Keita about developing a front page "gateway" for the site, instead of a forum redirect.. Obviously I cant just whip up something overnight, but I will attempt to give it a go. Of course, anyone could have an attempt at it too.
The shoutbox could easily be included on the front page, along with a number of other features. The additional features would obviously be restricted to registered users only.
