Questions about the website

I had no idea where to ask this question and no idea who to ask. I wanted to know what programming language is used to code this site and roughly how long it took. Also this site says it's Powered by phpBB. Did they code the site or was it made by furrs? I also like the logo.

phpBB is an off-the-shelf forum software package you can download and install to any box running SQL and Apache.
The forum's code is php, and it uses a MySQL database to store the posts, settings, contents, etc..
