Just as importantly, the upgrade must necessarily precede the style and graphics changes that are being planned. So it is also a case of "must be done" before more visible changes.

If you're not going to adapt them to the forum's design, you shouldn't have other themes enabled in the first place.

We aren't going to have them. Someone is working on making a theme specifically for the forum. Once that is finished and approved, the other themes will be removed. But they were put there when the old theme was no longer compatible and we were searching for a new theme. One was chosen as a default and we kept the others because a few users preferred the look. It was done as courtesy for users.

Fair enough on the reasons for the upgrade, I guess.

But can I actually get a response on my other question? As to when these stylistic issues/ideas are going to be addressed/implemented? And I mean answers that are not captain obvious level redundant statements from the peanut gallery that add absolutely nothing to the conversation.

I get it, you don't want to commit to a time frame since that gives you the leniency to practically postpone it inevitably, but I'm not asking for specifics (as in a time/date). Is it gonna take a month? (He asks practically a month later, lol. :v) 6 months? A year? Never? I don't think this question is unreasonable.

Also will we get a say in this 'supposedly' specific Zafur specific theme that's 'supposedly' in the works?

I know this comes as a surprise to you, but I also have a life outside this forum. Yes, it will be done. And no, I will not make a promise here that I cannot keep. You, amongst others, will take great pleasure in mentioning this to me over and over.

I cannot create the theme myself. I do not have the inclination or time to learn web design and the wonders of CSS and Symphony. I will need to rely on others to do it. Sometimes these people make promises to me, and then ... tell me 6 months later that they are not in a mood to help me any more. Or simply stop talking to me. Then I have to go around, find someone new, and take all the blame for the time it takes too. Been there, done that, no desire to repeat this.

In other words: "I'm doing this pro bono so don't expect anything." You know what else is done pro bono? Wiki fucking pedia. You don't get anything done with that attitude.

Yes I know I'm being spiteful, but I'm kind of bored of repeating myself on this matter and frankly by now I don't give a shit.

Don't expect anything? There's a fully functioning forum. That's more than some sites can say. Sometimes we have to rely on other people but if they don't do what they say then there's not much we can do about that.

To whomever put the "Mark Forums Read" button way on the right side of the screen.
I thank you!

I kept accidentally tapping it! And now, I can't!
So no more going through "Recent posts" to find unread messages!

It's almost as if you didn't even read my first p-...you know what. Nevermind. I got the answers I wanted.

We all know Furries are well known for their charity and their willingness to give out free stuff. Gosh! That makes it ten-times more surprising when they decide to not perform as they intended.

Did you look into the prices of actually paying someone to make the interface for us? I mean, if we had a goal and we kept a donation box that people could donate R5-10 or whatever the could afford whenever, even though it might take a while, I'm sure it'll still be quicker than waiting for an eventuality that'll never actually happen.
