Why do you still use XP? In that case, you would be much better off using a good Linux distro like Manjaro.

My desktop (read pitiful gaming setup) was put together in 2008 and only got a new graphics card since then, so I haven't bothered upgrading the OS. I'll do a revamp once I get myself a new mobo/processor/RAM combo for Christmas. I use a laptop with Win7/Ubuntu for work.

So it seems Maroon 5 has gotten into the spirit of Halloween, with this song about stalking, rape and murder. :D

I'll just leave that there in case any of you're feeling like a homicidal psychopath and wish to rock out to something on your iPod whilst you go about your nightly activities.
Hahaha!

Probably something to do with the XP fonts not being... well.. up to date.

And you can HTML5 on XP. Don't see why not?

Microsoft discontinued support for XP, it's a dead system. And as old as my sister who has almost finished her first year of high school.

But back on topic, I'll let you do things in the last week again.

I don't see why not? HTML5 is browser-based.
XP doesn't support IE9, but something like Chrome, Opera or Firefox should?

Halloween is now just less than a week away. Like last year, I have allowed users to change their usernames so you can use spooky Halloween names. This is for people to have fun but please do not abuse the privilege. This will remain active until a few days after Halloween so you can reset your names.

Can you please make it that avatars can be larger than 120x120? I can't even get my corrupted 'sona's head to fit in under that.

That utterly destroys the image quality. I've already tried all of these workarounds.

Try reduce the image gradually, ( like 10%, and then another 10% and so on ) It usually helps to preserve image quality.
Also use good software like Photoshop. If your using something like paint, Its going to kill your image.

'Cause it's original use was as an official rank awarding tool. I would imagine that you would get it for reaching milestones.

But there is just as much room for abuse in the other "free to enter" text fields. This yields nothing different.

Not really. The ranks are not normal profile fields. The default is to give a rank to all users based on the number of posts they have. We can create individual ranks by using the special rank feature, all of which requires admin access to the forum.
