I really like the lighting method using unblended shades of the same hue, it gives a bit of a pixel art feel to it.

Re: Novel Brainstorming

Alternatively, you could have them swear using lore-specific curses, or another language. I think Firefly did this brilliantly with "gorram" and random Chinese.

Also I have names for your two characters: Hopper and Eleven. :P Sorry, was the first thing that came to mind.

The hooker fairy is not a recurring character in Disenchantment either, it just sounded thematically similar.

The box photos look legit, but the copypasta from the DVC website (at half the price but excluding import duties etc) makes me doubtful nonetheless. Also I don't know of any active fursuit makers in Cape Town at the moment, let alone one who would have bothered to import a blank and subsequently not...

Re: What are you doing RIGHT NOW?

Had a great D&D session yesterday. We were getting dangerously close to TPK, and my sleazy tiefling bard was one of the last remaining conscious but basically powerless to help so what does he do? Pray for a miracle. Which actually worked and we all survived. The cleric was dumbstruck.

It's a dark yet silly, tongue-in-cheek coming-of-age story with a bit of ecchi thrown in. I quite enjoyed it.

Hello and welcome! The Ratchet and Clank games are awesome. X3 I think there are a few lombaxes in the fandom as a whole, but not very many. I hope you enjoy your time here! Thank you! Wait, there is Lombaxes in the fandom? I am glad to hear that! :D Well it does kind of fit into their lore though,...

That sounds an awful lot like the life philosophy I try to subscribe to, although I've mostly heard such discussions under the context of existential nihilism.

You could also simply list the section on the home page regardless of login state, and upon navigation there give a 403 if the user is not logged in.
Same thing as how you see usernames, but if you click one you can't see their profile.

Also I would put V&S underneath Furmeets just for logical flow.

Re: What are you doing RIGHT NOW?

I had a blast at D&D this weekend! We were bored while travelling so the warlock asked my bard to tell a story, which I was really happy to oblige because I had previously jotted down: "A long time ago, me and my brother Kyle here, we was hitchhikin' down a long and lonesome road..." but then once w...

I'm just going to take it at face value. I've always thought a live action Pokémon film would be a super cool idea, but never really hoped it would actually happen. And now I hear Pikachu is none other than Ryan Reynolds? Sign me right the fuck up. If nothing else it's sure to be a ton of fun.

Re: Fear of wolves in Germany highlights conservation issues and the future of our planet

Interesting and well written, just super depressing. Economics trumps long term rational thinking and that's why as long as there's a demand for it there will continue to be fossil fuel driven cars on the road and industrially produced meat in supermarkets.

Re: Forum restructuring 2018

I like it, except for one thing. Venting and support falls under the public square, which is a bit misleading since it's only visible to registered members. Not sure where else it could fit in though... Community projects, perhaps?
