Re: Ideas for ZAFur website redesign

I don't mean as in resize the image file itself, simply resample it in the page source. For example:

Code: Select all

<img src="path" width="(maximum post width)">
If I'm not mistaken it should preserve the aspect ratio if you only specify one dimension.

Re: Furry confessions

True that... but the Bull of Minos was a savage monster, us civilised Minotaurs do not find such things proper. I kid of course, who knows what Minotaur society is like XD

Re: Ideas for ZAFur website redesign

What about automatic scaling of images that cause the page to be wider than the screen? For example this page causes problems on my 1024x1280 screen (crappy old 3:4, I know).

Hang in there, it's most probably doable :) just carry on without worrying about the deadline, you'll feel more productive.

I have a very dark confession... Ironically, I love biltong. Does that make me a cannibal?

Re: A shy newcomer saying hello

I actually found out about the furry fandom via the Khajiit page on Facebook, and did my research from there. I was only introduced to the Elder Scrolls about 4 years ago by my boyfriend who showed me Oblivion. Then I played Skyrim when it came out and only after that tried Morrowind. https://i.chzb...

Re: A shy newcomer saying hello

Well I have to admit, I was a little apprehensive about joining this forum after hearing all the negative publicity the furry fandom gets, but after seeing how casually furriness can be taken, I feel a lot more comfortable with the idea. This may sound weird but I think I've been a furry since I was...

Re: What are you playing RIGHT NOW?

Skyrim, still... I think I've done just about every quest now. My character is so OP it's not even fun on expert any more. Thinking of going back to Oblivion. Or playing some TF2.

Re: What are you doing RIGHT NOW?

And this is what separates this forum from places like Bioware Social Network : people are able to overcome disagreements in an amicable fashion. I agree, it seems too rare these days to find people mature enough to admit they may be wrong. That's why I immediately liked this forum as soon as I sta...

Re: Furry confessions

Any doubts you may have had about being a furry can now be safely thrown out the window. :P I didn't think of it that way when I stuck a paper dragon tail and paper wings to myself as a kid  It didn't strike me as weird at the time. Still doesn't, I guess. Not unguligrade feet? That would fit ...

Also I really wish I had a tail and mobile pinnae (ears), I think they add so much expression to body language. And that I had digitigrade feet.

Re: "Furry"... restricted to literal fur?

Okay, so it's more open-ended than I thought.

There was a guy in our D&D group who played a traumatised Dwarf whose name was Edgar and to whom everything and everyone was an "Edgar", that's the strangest I've encountered.

Re: What are you doing RIGHT NOW?

If I may clarify, I didn't mean that I thought furries were into bestiality, just that I've met people who have said that, and corrected them. Unfortunately I think many people are still under that illusion, which is why I have an aversion to the topic.

"Furry"... restricted to literal fur?

I have a question. Does the term "furry" apply only to animals with fur i.e. mammals (and the platypus and other weird non-mammal furry things), or does it extend to birds and reptiles as well? And if it does, is there a limit of what can be considered "furry"? For example I can easily imagine a duc...

I read over what I write about 20 times before posting anything... and usually change it that many times before I do.

Also sometimes I make a small amount of dough (cookie dough, pizza dough, whatever) for the sole purpose of eating it raw.

Re: A shy newcomer saying hello

I'm a wholehearted supporter of free thinking, in the sense that observation and learning will usually give you the most accurate version of the truth. For example, if you can see that dogs were bred by humans into all the varieties they are today from wolf-like ancestors, it's only logical to concl...

Lady, the mere fact that you like anthros means you belong here: it's as casual as that. Yay, I belong  Glad you put all the straight male furs in their place. It looked like they were about to launch into a frenzy over you. Do you have to clarify this when you play online games too? I wasn't ...

Not specifically, I just searched DA for some nice female minotaur/tauren/cow anthro art without ridiculous "udder" attributes. I have my own DA page too, but it's not very active right now.

Re: A shy newcomer saying hello

Since you've played as Khajiit and Argonians, it's safe to assume you must be an Elder Scrolls fan. Did you ever feel bad about killing the minotaurs in Cyrodiil? :P Not really, considering they attacked me first and clearly aren't very bright in that game. Also I was a Khajiit at the time. I once ...

Re: A shy newcomer saying hello

It rather sounds like you assumed all the straight guy furries here were all just going to go "Uh, uh, female..." and start banging their chests on your appearance. I am well aware and not at all under the illusion that the appearance of a female is no cause for alarm for most well-adjusted individ...

A shy newcomer saying hello

Friendly greetings to all of you :D First off I just want to say I'm not entirely sure I belong here  , but I've always liked anthropomorphic creatures of all kinds in fiction and I guess I like cosplay but haven't really tried it out for real yet as an adult (I loved dressing up as animals as...
