Re: On life in Thailand

The minimum cost of living is lower than that in S-A. For reference, R1 = 2.34 baht, at the time of writing Our rent is 7500 baht a month, though if we wanted to, we could go a lot lower. There's a place across the road that's 3500 a month, though our place is quite nice. The room itself is small (w...

In March, me and Dasc Crescent moved to Thailand together to teach English It's been an amazing few months so far. Not perfect by any means. Thailand is very differe...

Remember: it is always better to run towards something than away from something. If you are just running away, who's to say you're not running from one monster straight into another? Being in a whole new place doesn't fix your problems. It just presents you with a whole new list of problems. Nowhere...

Team Fortress 2

It recently got a huge update, which is amazing! Except that it's kind of focussed on Pyro, which is my least played class, so now about half of people playing are playing Pyro... It's actually kind of scary

I've been playing a looot of Team Fortress 2 since being in Thailand. Being in Asia means there's actually hundreds of servers to choose from, which is amazing! I really love the game, with all it's mechanics. I consider myself a medic main, though my number 2 is demoman, with less than an hour of p...

Oooh, a haunted asylum theme. I love it! Really, nothing freaks me out quite as much as a haunted asylum. I think in this age, where so many of us are questioning our own mental state, that so many of us have a sort of soft spot for asylums. Really, that's a brilliant theme! Congrats to them But peo...

Attraction to furries vs to humans

Good day furs. I just wanted to hear how much attraction, sexual or otherwise, you feel towards humans relative to furries. In other words, do you generally find people more attractive than furries? Or furries more attractive than people? Note that I mean physically, as in you haven't exchanged a si...

I'm more thinking of Dascs car, the RAV 4. It can do 120 comfortably, but that's on its top gear. Besides, if it is struggling (e.g we have a trailer attached), just stay out of the fast lane... Hi there Just want to say, this is why I believe it's stupid to own a car that can confortably go 180km/h. It's much more fun to have a car that peaks at around 130km/h. When you have a slower car, it feels like you're going fast at 120km/h, and with a fast car you could be going 140km/h without eve...

I've thought about it before. You know how people are planning to colonize Mars? Imagine if the colonists plan to rebel. What is earth gonna do? Send people to punish them? While the financial cost is one thing, the time it'd take... If we were to go to war with another colony, even if they were fur...
