Re: Furries in the media
What the actual f*ck was that?! I'm surprised one wasn't a flamboyantly gay fox... let's round out the furry stereotypes, shall we?

Re: (Market research)What are you willing to pay for a fursuit
Hiya Havoc! Welcome to the forum! I know what you mean about the piece-by-piece. Costume parts are expensive & an absolute luxury, but I feel like a kid in a toy store saving up for a bike. The possibility is so enticingly close but preeeeetty hard to realise. We're very far away from US/European ma...

Re: Inactive Users
Well now - that escalated quickly! I doubt that we've completely exhausted all the handles in 180-ish tries. Not broke, why fix? Make the forum a fun, inviting place & people will keep posting. At worst, it is a nice (ORGANISED) central point apart from FB groups & WhatsApp groups that tend to be ch...

Re: Suit for a blue werewolf
In my experience, travelling fursuiters use vac-bags to squish their body suits & padding down to manageable sizes. My one friend brought two of his suits to Confuzzled this way, no problems.

Well now that is an interesting point! Anyone ever try to ship it as a "life sized plush toy" or "satyrical taxidermy display"?

Gosh Lee - you are an ANGEL! That is a good comprehensive list - some items I have around already so WINNNN. I'm also looking at a bunch of tutorials about construction/shaping. What method do you use? I'm guessing foam construction, but on a balaclava, straight foam or understructure (eg mesh frame...

Getting started
Long term project is to construct a fursuit head myself basically to give me a creative outlet & to make something fun that I won't be too "holy" about using. No real deadline, no real concrete ideas. SOOOOO my question is this - I want to set up a work station for all my arts & crafts things. What ...

Re: Fursuiters and Handlers
I've been a fursuit wrangler to a whole herd of fursuits (3 at highest count) at ComiCon London. Fursuiters have very limited field of vision & impaired hearing. Basically, I made sure that they didn't trip over things (little kids mostly!), that they stayed hydrated, kept their belongings safe, unz...

Howzit Rave! I would LOVE to attend Confuzzled again next year, but the exchange rate left me so broke I can hardly pay attention! ^___^;;; I hope it will improve somewhat. The folks I attended with are gunning for NordicFurCon(?) next year, which I am not too keen on.

There was a surprising number of girls at ConFuzzled! ...that was totally not a sexist statement... just a surprising observation. And a lot of them were suiting too.

Re: Advice For University Students?
On "going overseas" - I am going to tell you that it isn't easy at all. I have ten years of experience in my highly specialised field & have held a managerial post for 3 years. The UK didn't care. In order to get a job in the UK, you have to have a work permit. This required (in my field) that I had...
