Re: Welcome to my library!
Well, you beat me to a few of them. Prequel is absolutely fantastic, as is Slightly Damned, Dreamkeepers, and Lackadaisy. I came across Scurry more recently, but have been enjoying that thus far as well. I will definitely take a look at the ones you recommended. As for my own recommendations, here a...

Re: Welcome to my library!
Hahaha, the sheer number of Danielle Steele books that I have seen in thrift stores... Enough to sink small islands most likely... I might have to check out TwoKinds, I'm always on the lookout for new webcomics. Any other favorites? I have a 'small' list that I keep up with regularly, but have...

Re: Welcome to my library!
Oh no, hahaha. That sounds truly unfortunate. I love libraries, but don't visit them nearly as often as I would like... Yeah, it does seem like a lot of Stephen King movie adaptations have suffered quite a bit. I would agree that the Paul in the book Misery is a very compelling character. While I at...

Re: Welcome to my library!
Oh... Well, no need to talk about the great debacle then. Misery is a fantastic book, and while I can't say it's my favorite by King, you're right in that it manages to accomplish quite a bit within a very limited space between two characters. If you're a fan of simple premises that are taken to ext...

Re: Welcome to my library!
So I just realized that I didn't mention manga, graphic novels, or webcomics at all, nor did I clarify that they weren't included on my list above... But rest assured that I am a fan of all three of these formats. I may have to make a separate thread or something to fully talk about any of t...

Welcome to my library!
Hello everyone! I didn't really get much into my favorite books in my intro thread, so I thought I'd give a little virtual tour of some of my favorite books from my library, both past and present. I have enjoyed reading for most of my life, and my love of reading has also tempered my desire to write...

Re: Hello all!
I think I did manage to find all the secret areas in the first game, and at least some of the secrets in the second. And yeah, Portal 2's soundtrack is really good for studying. Hmm, I haven't actually listened to it in a while... Time to fix that! Would agree that "Want You Gone" and "Cara Mia Adio...

Re: Hello all!
Thanks again for the greetings, all! I have thought a little about forensic science... Also thought about medicine some. Like I said, I'm pretty indecisive, (I do appreciate the pun, Cape_F0X) :D I don't know how I neglected to mention FMA. I've watched through the whole of the original series...

Re: Hello all!
Thank you all for your warm welcome! Can confirm, Ori and the Blind Forest is a beautiful game. Unfortunately it has some framerate issues on my PC, and so I haven't gotten very far in it yet. Glad you don't mind having me here. I could complain quite a bit about Trump, but suffice to say I do...

Re: Hello all!
Thank you all for your greetings! I appreciate it. As far as games go, I tend to enjoy platformers and story-driven games the most (RPGs and such), but am willing to give just about anything a try. I will usually play stuff on the PC if I can, but I also own a PS3 and have access to several Nintendo...

Hello all!
Hi! I'm Trace. I'm 22 years old, and I'm an aspiring writer and artist; currently working part-time while finishing up the the last class I need to complete my degree in Biology. I'll start by saying that I'm not actually South African, but I do have a couple connections to SA. I was able to visit o...
