If you like that, I will strongly recommend that you watch Durarara! It's among my favorite anime, and makes use of that technique in about the best possible way.Sev wrote:I like how all of the background characters are solid gray.
Makes them stand out, more than anything.

Huh, that was kind of neat. Reminded me a little of the openings of a few shows. Probably Wolf's Rain and Durarara! most notably. Possibly a bit of SAO as well...
Anyway, maybe we should make a cool furry video thread?

Timber was really good. And I love pretty much every character in Zoophobia.
While we're at it, I'll highly recommend her animation to Owl City's 'Silhouette': https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t47fADGOaxc
Something about the combination of the fantastic song and gorgeous visuals gets me teary-eyed.

As Chloe reminded me of Vivziepop, I realized I forgot to mention another comic I really like! Zoophobia (http://zoophobiacomic.com/post/127351123949): A really colorful comic in about every way. A unique art style, super vivid colors and memorable characters all make this a really enjoyable comic. ...

Ooh, I love Vivziepop's stuff! I do really like her 'Die Young' video. Her webcomic is pretty great too.
Wait... I forgot to mention that in my list of webcomics!
Will have to check out the other video though.

I think that actually turned out fairly well. There are some details that I really like (the feet for instance are pretty great). I do have a few suggestions though. I am still very much learning how to draw myself, but have learned a couple things along the way... First, it seems that you've kept m...

Two cows were sitting in a mulberry tree knitting teapots with iron wool. Just then a horsefly flew by and landed in the next tree over, The cows stopped their knitting looked and each other and shrugged, carrying on knitting, Another horesfly flew past and landed in the same tree, Once again they ...

I cry every time! It's just so beautiful. Interracial relationships are apparently very taboo in Korea, and that's what the creators were trying to address with There she Is . It really is beautiful. It gave me feels. It's cool to know about the background for it, and I love the use of metaph...

Hmm... Realized this could be misconstrued if taken out of context. To clarify, no, this is not in reference to The Topic That Shall Not Be Named. What I'm referring to is more in a fantasy setting. Anyway...Trace wrote:I'll admit, I also have kind of a thing for interspecies romance...

Most of the facial features are coming along just fine. I think you should concentrate on some nose studies for your next pic. The nose is currently somewhere between toony & realistic which is fine, but lacks 3 dimensional form. Let us know if you need some pointers on incorporating references int...

Re: Best movies that you have seen?
I have way too many favorite movies to even know where to begin... Secondhand Lions is really good. As to your point about it having everything, I'll also suggest The Princess Bride , and to a lesser extent, Big Fish . I really like a lot of the old classic Disney movies, both the animated ones that...

So I watched most of the short films in this thread (The link to Feast no longer works  ). I have a few thoughts... I'll start by talking about The Boy Who Wanted to Be a Lion . I'd be inclined to agree that losing sight of reality is dangerous. Knowing how to have fun is important, but it's al...

Thanks! I agree that I mostly need lots of practice. To that end, I attempted another drawing last night: https://forum.zafur.co.za/download/file.php?mode=view&id=7456 It has a few issues, but I thought it turned out fairly well for the most part. I will say that I think I got the fur coloration clo...

Shoot, you beat me to the Edison quote. I have it written in the front cover of one of my sketchbooks.Leeward wrote:"I have not failed. I've just found 10,000 ways that won't work." - Thomas Edison
Then how about:

My Fursona, Trace
After several restless nights, much consideration and some encouragement from others, I have figured out my Fursona; and in doing so, I think I've learned a little more about myself. I have decided that I am a Wolfdog. Somewhere on the verge of two worlds: domestic and wild, subservient and free, th...
