Was it painful the first time? The most painful piercing I got was the septum piercing and that's straight through bone. But one's nipples are extremely sensitive so i can imagine that being really painful!

Good grief! Please take care of your piercings! infections are so easy to avoid if you get it at the right places and clean it regularly! I hope they all recovered quickly!
