Re: The rough road to animal personhood
Lab-grown meat would be better but not perfect. It solves most of the ethical issues but, if I remember correctly, it's quite expensive. Also most mammalian cell cultures are grown in the off-products from slaughter houses and that has not been fixed yet, although some companies were working on pla...

Re: The rough road to animal personhood
So if we could grow meat in a lab. Would it be a better substitute and would you eat it? Also, how do we teach/convince the people in undeveloped African countries about animal rights or even to become vegan -if their main form of protein intake is cattle/poultry farming? Do you think they will give...

DDR 5 Ram - Where we at with it?
SO I read somewhere DDR 5 ram modules have been released recently, I have a few questions for all the tech gurus: Around when will supporting hardware be released? How good is upgrading your system(basically building a new pc) for DDR 5 usage, for the average gamer? Should workstation pc owners be ...

Re: Relationships?
Okay guys. I think it is time I broke the news. If you followed the forum closely you probably already know and I have told a few people, furs and non-furs alike. This is mainly for the stragglers who don't bother to check every thread and don't catch all the updates. Don't feel bad though; I would...

Re: Authority and it's fault in life
But that's the thing. The wonder of having a free economy is that we can choose who to work for/not. We can decide who to buy stuff from or use their services from. if a company is neglecting it's workers or consumers. People do stop sponsoring them. It's called voting with your wallets.

Re: Authority and it's fault in life
Old topic. Don't know why I'm reviving it. But yeah, that's probably how the majority of jobs are. My previous job was also disgusting and shit. But that's just jobs in general if you think about it. For every dollar your boss get, you get a dime. Even though you do the tough work. Whether you think...

Despite the political issues we have, I don't think I'll ever move abroad. There's just too much we have that other countries don't. Diversity being one of them. That wonderful feeling whenever a person of other race/culture greets you in their home language whenever you walk pass them in public, 'D...

Re: Dealing with younger generations...
Okay yes, I am a younger generation but to be honest, I can't stand most of the people in my generation and below. They're attitude ("what are you gonna do about it" attitude), appreciation for things, respect for others and just their general outlook in life is, for me, rather concerning (this doe...
