Its clearly a frog in a sailboat.
Sails? Check.
Goes on water? Check.
Goes on land? Check.
Nobody steers it? Frogs don't have hands, so check.

And that's a great riddle - it leads you away because your eye catches the link between try-succeed but you have to think to get the right answer

Correct! :D I also would have accepted "parasol". ;) Those really need to make a comeback. As far as I know, a parasol protects from the sun, and an umbrella from the rain? New riddle: You have two doors (doors, again!), one leading to life and the other to death. You don't know which is which. Eac...

Re: What are you doing RIGHT NOW?
To quit because someone doesn't like what you have written shows a lack of determination on their part to realise a dream. Anybody can put a pen to paper, not everyone can weave the fabric of a story. If I ever asked you to to critique something for me I would expect nothing less than the truth. I ...

Re: Puzzles & Riddles !
The first two paragraphs of my post are wrong. But the rest is accurate. After the opening of the second door, the probability of the doors does not change (but the effective probability of the open door becomes 0 because it is revealed to be a goat, and therefore the 2/3 probability becomes concent...

Re: Puzzles & Riddles !
Sorry, Leeward, but I think you're logic is a little flawed. Maths warning ahead If the first door is 1/3 as you say (which it is), and after the next door is opened the doors are now 1/2 and 1/2, then there is clearly no advantage to switching. But you said the original door is 1/3 and the closed d...

Re: Puzzles & Riddles !
Hey we have a winner! ;) 2/3 chance to get the cash if you switch doors. At the start, each door has a 1/3 chance, so if your door has a 1/3 chance, the other two have a 2/3 chance total, right? So when the host opens one, the one open door has a 0/3 chance (because you know there is a goat) so the ...

But there could be a double bluff and the cash is behind the door you opened!
But really, which door is more likely to win you the money?

Re: Puzzles & Riddles !
I got it, so I'll go! You're on a gameshow with three doors, behind one is a lot of cash and behind the others are two goats. You get to choose any door. When you've made your choice, the gameshow host opens one of the other doors, and reveals a goat. He then gives you the option: stick with the doo...

OK you people are pretty cool. :) Thank you so much for your honest answers! I'm pretty overwhelmed but what seems to be coming out, and this is something that particularly caught my eye, is the idea that the fursona is a 'window' into the part of the personality that isn't otherwise expressed. Am I an example of a calculated birth? Was my destiny planned to start on that fateful day that I plummeted to earth and I cried as I realised I was born? I think foxes are popular because they are canines. Man and dog have a history of many hundreds and thousands of years, and research shows that humans and canines have actually adapted to be companion creatures over thousands of years, and that dogs and humans are more adept at Reading each others e...

The site looks like it was put together in the 90s and the layout is terrible confusing. Honestly is just a bad place to be in, the forums are awful and very poorly run.
