Re: What are you doing RIGHT NOW?
Doubt it, seems pretty reasonable with Day Zero approaching. Wouldn't want to be caught with my pants down if people panic and start looting shops to the point where they have to close down. And even if that doesn't happen, we just saved a bunch by buying stuff in bulk, so win-win. Did you stand in...

Arguing about if we need a second healer or not on TeamSpeak, listening to music and ignoring a spreadsheet that needs to be filled in.

Re: Advice For University Students?
I did a different degree, but I think that much of the advise stays the same. I just got my head down and ran at the wall until it cracked - But there are some things you can do to make it easier when you graduate. Start making professional connections as early as you can, and make sure you have a r...

I'll go with Adagio on this one. Have seen many landies die on trips, most recently a gearbox that was stuck in third (Stuck as in STUCK) about 150km into the bush.
Isuzu on the other hand.. They are indestructible that said, you can fix a land rover with duct tape and wire.

Re: Advice and ideas for starting a tutoring business.
Yup, that's the best way to go about it. Download the curriculum for the grades and subjects you want to teach, download a textbook and some sample tests etc for the given subjects, contact the local schools and place an advert in thier weekly/monthly school bulletins - Doesn't have to be fancy with...

I'm wary of giving way over the yellow line - Sometimes the other car takes so long to overtake that large expanse of open yellow disappears rather quickly. Have learned to watch - Small slow cars I don't go into the yellow for unless I can see really, really far ahead (Although if I know there is a...

Re: The struggle unheard of...
3D movies have never done it for me. I saw Shrek when it came out in 3D, and walked out with a mind numbing headache. The constant on-off with the glasses didn't help either.
Granted, I am sure they have improved since then, but I'll stick to 2D if at all possible.

Interesting. Re: TUKS(UP) and other university strikes have become violen
I'm just glad I'm done with uni. The strikes left a horrible taste in my mouth, and I feel that the university badly managed some aspects. Sure, the protests started over exams (Which got postponed, expected), but the mark release dates (adjusted) were blatantly wrong (19th of Dec), I only got my fi...

It's a spiritual thing, not a furry thing, although they can become knotted together from time to time. Much like one can be christian, creationist, or even a scientologist and a furry at the same time, because one is a fandom and the other is a set of beliefs. That said, I have yet to meet a creati...

You know what bugs me? That sign.
Why is there no prison sentence and court case brought against that student, along with immediate expulsion?
The fact that it didn't happen tells me alot about the way things are viewed.
