Re: What are you doing RIGHT NOW?
It has! How be international waters? I should really check in here more than once a month xD I guess Thailand has slowed things down for me. So little stress. Weeks go by without much thought, which is terrible, I guess, but eh. Its peaceful, and I'm happy... As happy as I've ever been, anyway.

Re: Should Drugs be Legalised?
]simple. it wont stop the use of drugs but why should it? if people want to make the conscious decision to fuck up their lives then they should be free to make that choice. the only part that's a problem is when people do it accidentally and you will put a stop to that with user licensing. I'll beg...

Re: Should Drugs be Legalised?
if you can buy industry regulated quality heroin at the pharmacist, you can get to see all the warning labels on it before you decide to use it. even better if user licensing is implemented because when applying for a license you are educated on its effects and can make a more educated choice. If y...

Re: Should Drugs be Legalised?
I still haven't voted, because it really isn't as simple as yes or no... yes it is. the state should not mandate what its citizens are allowed to chose to consume. its the same thing as criminalizing the use of chocolate because it makes people fat. criminalizing the use of narcotics or any kind of...

Re: Recipe!! (For success)
Why not expand your horizons by adding bread and eggs to the mix? I have made 2 minute noodle sandwiches, and I have added eggs to 2 minute noodles (in a few ways actually. You can just break an egg into it before throwing it in the microwave, that does come out okay, but cooking an egg in a pan fir...

Re: Recipe!! (For success)
If you've got a sandwich toaster thing (Or snackwich, as my family called it... No clue if anyone else calls it this), a really easy and quick thing to make is egg snackwiches. Just dent the bread a bit, carefully put the egg in (It's probably going to leak a bit, but cleanup is easy enough), put th...

Re: lion king fandom?
I don't think it's fair to call it a gateway. Some people just like the lion king, without liking furries Some people just like weed, without liking hardcore drugs. In fact, most people who like weed don't like hardcore drugs Not sure what that has to do with the price of rice in China, but whatever

I don't think it's fair to call it a gateway. Are there actually people who are gathering specifically for the lion king, an...

There's actually a science behind that, a docter explained it to me. Alcohol thickens the blood, while cigarettes thin it (Might be the other way round), thus when drinking, the body craves cigarettes to counteract it

Drinking too much really isn't good, but I'm in no position to judge, seeing as I'm nursing a hangover right now Smoking... I don't like it. I used to smoke on occasion, but never once actually liked it, apart from the social aspect I would not cut myself... No offense, but I find it cowardly. I've ...

Re: Should Drugs be Legalised?
Interesting thread... I kinda skimmed a lot of it, and a big problem I see is how it's all black and white, yes or no. For starters, the word "drugs", which includes everything from weed to krokodil (or however it's spelled). How is there just a "yes" and "no" vote, when some drugs are more harmful ...

Re: Thaitails 2018
How difficult is it to learn Thai? Very. Whereas the English language uses different tones to convey emotion and such, Thai uses them for different words. Every syllable has 5 different tones, each meaning 5 different words (well, in some cases. Not all 5 have meanings with all words). Since we're ...

Thaitails 2018
So, this year, me and Dasc went to our first real furry convention: Thaitails 2018! It seems to be one of the biggest, if not the biggest, furry convention in South-East Asia. I'm not sure how many people attended, but it was hundreds! I wouldn't be surprised if it's near 500 people in total It all ...

Re: What are your views on the yiffy part of the fandom?
Thanks for the opinion, Cynthe. Generally speaking, it is a bad idea to show someone porn unless you know they're interested, regardless of the porn, and especially if the porn is niche in any way (e.g furry porn). I'm sure most of us keep that in mind. If they keep wandering to our porn sites... We...

Re: Do you believe in ghosts?
What my dad saw went on from his early years until into his 30's, as far as I can tell. As I said, I've only ever talked to him a few times about it. Either he's been hallucinating his whole life, or ghosts exist. I choose to believe the latter

Re: Do you believe in ghosts?
I believe in ghosts specifically. Logically, they are impossible. I don't even believe in a soul. But, well... My dad claims to be able to see ghosts. He says it happened a lot more when he was young. The way he talks about it, I'm sure he's being dead serious. He doesn't like talking about it, he s...

What are your views on the yiffy part of the fandom?
So we've discussed furry smut, now let's talk about the people who enjoy it I'm sure most of you would agree that you're not "in the fandom for the yiff". But I'm sure for, at least some of you, this statement might be followed by a "but" I'll also say I'm not in the fandom for the yiff. I'm here fo...

The Witcher 2, which is great. Loving the world that it's building... But I also discovered a mod for FTL, namely FTL: Captains edition. Basically doubles the content... for better or for worse And I just saw that streets of rogue is on sale... picking that up right now And still playing TF2 in betw...

Re: Talent - A Real Gift, or Fiction?
Talent does not equal skill. Being talented and being skillful are two different concepts. Arguing that talent doesn't exist because skill can be learnt is silly. Talent is defined as "natural aptitude or skill.". Whatever happens after is irrelevant Drawing is a bad example, as it requires many hou...

Re: What're your views on furry smut?
Your argument is kind of invalid. Using reason as a measurement of result. I mean, the two reasons you listed (because other people want to read it, and because you yourself wanted to write it) is kind of the two main reasons for any writing... You're not going to write something you don't enjoy, un...

Re: What're your views on furry smut?
In my opinion, when you're busy fapping, you don't want to get too invested in the characters, or in the story. Some stories I've read try to get you invested, and it kind of feels like "please just get to the action already" That's not to say it lacks creativity. There's a looot of smut out there, ...
