How should we reconcile the law and morality when teaching children?
We probably that the law can be useful, providing protection from crimes like murder or rape. But we also recognise that the law can promote terrible things, such as in Apartheid South Africa. More generally we recognise that the dichotomy of legal/illegal does not directly map to right/wrong. This ...

Maximum temperatures are important but might not be representative. Better to use like an upper quartile or something rather than basing everything on a maximum.

I replaced my CPU's thermal paste because it is about five or six years old and runs so hot. When I opened everything up, I realised the CPU cooler was probably never properly attached (my fault). So... I think it spent a couple years with inadequate cooling. On the plus side, the average running te...

No and no. Mostly because I'm too lazy with cooking and partly because some ingredients are very difficult to find. I've only ever seen seitan in a restaurant.

If I recall correctly, the time I did make pizza for you was that time I left it in the warmer and it got way too dry before people could eat it. Hardly the best pizza I ever made.

Re: make people want to use the site more.
Most forums got very quiet. Even many chat groups on different platforms. Personally, I'm not a fan of trying to entice people with gimmicks. It should be there for people to communicate. One can lure people in with gimmicks and things, like much of social media does, but I don't think that is healt...

Hogwarts Legacy sounded interesting but it's just way too expensive. I can't really justify that much on a game.
I just finished Blasphemous and now I've moved on to Lapin. It's got cute bunnies.

Calesthenics. Body weight training. I could probably do more but I think I'm slowly making progress and it's the sort of thing that does take a few years to master, especially since I was basically doing no exercise for many, many years. But, perhaps an impossible, this is what the end result could ...

Had the first meeting with my DnD group! We just chatted about things and setting up. I was the only one who had actually fully made a character. (The others haven't even played RPGs like Elder Scrolls!) Our DM said they were thinking we could all have special features for our character. Now how can...

Gonna spend any time in GP? Afraid I've got no plans to go there. Long way to travel and I've got no family there. Unlikely to even go to the Eastern Cape where I do have some family.
