Re: Mirror's Edge

I enjoyed it, but yeah, the little bugs here and there really detracted from the experience. A pity, because it was really pretty. If they make a sequel and polish it a bit more, I definately think I would buy it. Of, course, it is probably better to not make a sequel. More originality would be nice...

Re: MMORPGS and You!

Noone has mentioned the only MMO I ever liked.. EVE Online! Its in space! This means its cool. WoW is alright, but its far to repetitive to keep me interested. I rolled a character on a friend's Warhammer Online game for a while.. thet game's focus on PvP is really refreshing, but I'm not sure if it...

*left fist to chest* For the Greater Good! I loves me the Tau. The greater good means we are the good guys, of course. Just ignore all the smaller evils that we perform to make sure things get done. DOW2 I have not yet managed to get hold of, crazy work and all. I'll probably end up playing Eldar th...

Re: UV rays connection (cancer)

UV damages you because the high-energy rays of the light actually penetrates your cells, and can smash up the DNA in those cells, leading to possible cancers. In the eyes this can cause cataracts and other problems; some good sunglasses can protect most of this but light can still enter the eye from...

Finally another chick to join us...but it's yet another straight one T-T I feel so alone... Well I tried to get my sister to be furry, she certainly likes animals a lot, and is quite kittylike herself, but she says that furries are all perverts. I can't think what would have given her that impressi...

And that, Valerion, is the real question. The technology is amazing, and I can see how you could produce incredible effects with it. The problem is, people have so much more experience squeezing every last frame out of "traditional" architectures like the X-Box that currently there is no appreciable...

Huskies are so cuddly, but I always feel sad for them when I see them in SA. Its far too hot here for them, they should be chilling out in some snow. :D

I enjoy cold weather myself... part of why I chose to be a tundra wolf.

Well biologically, there is no way for whatever has been spliced into the crops or animals getting into you. Its food! You eat it, you body turns it into nutrients, it is used. You don't start mutating into everthing you eat. If mutagens are used on crops during development, none will exist on the p...

I can like the entire management, but at a higher level, like in Galactic Civilizations 2. (probably my favourite game atm) Running an entire culture for the win. If I can build planet-destroying battleships in the same game, well, thats just frosting on the cake. ^_^

Sony's PS3 claims of complexity.

This completely stumps me. Sony has said they made the PS3 hard to program for on purpose . Why? How could this possibly have been a good business plan? I know the Japanese are strange fellows, but surely they have people in marketing who thought about what that would mean for developers? Plus the ...

Online play from SA? That actually works, with sufficently low lag to make it worth the effort? :P </miniflame>

Yeah, FF's character development for the furrier members of the cast has never been great. I prefer Breath of Fire for that reason, despite its age. :D

Hm, I never got into the games, being more of a Civilisation and Red Alert-style RTS game player. I also don't really find that era sufficently interesting to hold my interest for long enough, I prefer WW2 tactical stuff, when I can find it. That said the game looks like the developers have streamli...

Re: If you wake up tomorrow ... and turned into a fur ...

I think I would freak out a bit, then start enjoying it, and run around town at night, scaring drunk students. I'd probably just become a night ghost, seeing friends but sneaking about the edges of society. Later, I would go and start looking for more like me. If I changed into my personal fursona, ...

Whats up with that?

You'd be surprised how much Steam is used just for chatting these days. There are a lot of furry-oriented gaming groups where you can find 30+ people at a given time not playing games, but just chatting in chat rooms (not just one on one IM). So I would say that it is a viable chat client these day...

Redwall is really good, and the rest of the stories are compelling, but Brian Jacques never bothered to come up with more than 2 plots. Almost all the books have the same story, just with different characters.

His Badgers are always awesome though. ^_^

How long is a donkeys year exactly ? Well! The phrase is thought to be a rhyming slang derivative of donkey's *ears*, which are as you know, long. Donkeys also live quite a long time for an animal. This information brought to you with the help of Google, and this page. Do you think the phrase "fire...

I have always liked the anthro characters which pop up in the FF games, especially good old Red XIII. Pity he got so little screen tme in the movie. I think the one that I really liked was The Wind in the Willows.

The books that really rekindled my interest in all things furry were the Spellsinger series. I wonder just how many furries that series is responsible for.. and if Alan Dean Foster realises what he has done. :D
