The thing about peace

I should remane my profile name to 'Controvesy' I have looked around a wee bit and see a bit of a split, obviously you all have seen this better than me, a lowly Telegram dweller. Now, this little rumble is something I would like to clarify, Look, by clarify I mean, a proper discussion with facts ou...

Because people, and furries in particular for some reason, seem to be physically incapable of keeping quiet when they disagree; they have to make it known lest they... I don't know, explode with repressed disapproval? Or maybe implode with sheer self-control? Who knows. It's easier to criticise som...

Look, I still have to see how the argument came to be,
I just saw there is one.

And I think we need to figure out a way to settle our differences, I suspect there is some serious misunderstanding.
Arguments don't come from nothing.

Time for peace, can we work to that?

Deep Think - Evolution of law

Consciousness is bloody amazing. It is most probably the reason why we can think abstractly. Anyway, Law. The glue of society. it has a few majour flaws that are really unpleasant and indiscriminate like a landmine, but it is also in the very top of Humanitiy's best inventions. But there are a few c...

One can also see a true deep genuine relationship as a method of developing emotional intelligence. You get to talk to someone that is not going to use that info to hamstring you. Re: Why is 80's metal so good?

It's an easier to access medium, so it's more saturated with trash. And co-incidentally more saturated with decent music. That is the one problem I find with it all. There is very good electronic music. Even if I don't like electronic music, I have some songs and one artist I really enjoy. The prob...

It was the same story with D&D, and before that Rock 'n' Roll. There's always some new thing the kids are into that just has to be devil worship. Re: Why is 80's metal so good?

I see instrumental tracks being mentioned here. Compare Mike Oldifield's Tubular Bells to a song with lyrics (But, listen without the lyrics) The lyrics containing songs have the purposed Verse and Chorus built into it for the very purpose of supporting Lyrics. Again, Yngwie Malmsteen is another goo...

Re: ZAFur branded goodies: market research

Do look at silkscreen printing. I may sound monstrously difficult but it is actually rather tame.
Cape Town has this NSDS company that supplies very good quality printing goods at astounding prices.
P.S. this is manual screen printing, automating the process is another thing.

Re: Why is 80's metal so good?

It is all in the style of metal. I would wholly agree that there is complex and simple music. Metal also has this. Some old metal bands shredded it out whilst others just played a nice tune to listen to. Be it Malmsteen or Rammstein you like, I tend to like music when it is raw. I just love it when ...

Why is 80's metal so good?

Why oh why can I not stop listening, thinking about even practicing any metal from the 80's?
Is it because of the lack of post processing so you get the true music with all it's imperfections to make it sound more genuine?
Is it because of the skill of the band?
Is it the vocals.

Can anyone tell me?
