Adag's Photo's
Heya!
Gots myself a new camera(YAY), and thought I'd upload some of my pics...
***NATURE PICS***
Here... We have... the nose... of a cat... Yeah... I was bored...
You heard of the eye of the tiger, here's the eye of the kitty cat
You heard the expression "Let sleeping dogs lye" I need not say about cats... O_O
This is our cat showing extreme amounts of interest...
Yet another kitty cat...
Meer kat as hond? Ek dink nie so nie...
Nothing quite as beautiful as a bushfelt sunrise...
I was bored OK, Sat in camp ALL DAY! So I took photo's of a... Dung... Beetle
I got into SO MUCH trouble over these photos... I just couldn't kill the poor little jackels... They were just SO CUTE!
Kinda wakes the pyromaniac in me...
Anyone here ever went to Mbidi? It's this awesome place at Loskop Dam were you can walk with Tigers, and Hold a Lion cub, even run with a Cheetah!
Obviously... He doesn't like the paparazzi...
This Tiger absolutely LOVED the attention!
He even Smilled!
AAAAAAND Then he got tierd....
This is my personal favoutite...
We left the sprayer on one night, and it transformed some of our plants into crystals...
Of course... the plants didn't seem to be so fond of the idea... But hey!
***LONG EXPOSURE***
I experimented a little with the long exposure function on my camera, Here's what I got
The hue's in this one is pretty... It was created by the feint light emitted by the incandescent bulb on our porch on the trees a hundred or so meters away...
My Fairytale range...
***Heavy Metal***
Well... Not the kind you are used to...
Wen the University of Pretoria didn't want me, My dad said that I;m going to be his apprentice for the time being... Of course, as usual, the son doesn't share the passion a dad show's for his work... But it was a valuable learning experience...
__________________________________________________
So... Tell me what you think!
Also, On a side note... I went through a WHOLE LOT of trouble uploading these... Somehow the ISP thinks that uploading images to ImageBucket was Peer to Peer activity... O_O
I swear, Internet without P2P is like walking through the mall with a straight jacket, and a muzzle with a tiny opening...

These are really good. I particularly like the cat's eye, and the one where he seems to be pointing at the camera. I imagine him going "YOU!!!"

Re: Adag's Photo's
Why would someone want you to kill jackals?
Some really cool photos there. Maybe I should play around with a proper camera sometime. I wanna make cool pics too.

Well... If you own a game farm, they eat the new bourn impala's... So the owner wasn't pleased when he hears I wouldn't kill the jackal...
True... but a good camera has functions a regular camera doesn't have, like long exposure times esc.Fluke wrote:you dont need a good camera to take good pictures

Whoa. I missed these in 2013 somehow, and never saw them. I guess that was before I started using the 'unread forums' function a lot. I loved the jackal pictures.
Hahaha!

Re: Adag's Photo's
Wow, thank you for the pics!
Telling you which ones I like most would be hard, long list ;) Well done!
Btw. It's sad to see cats behind fences. And tigers are for cuddling! (They have very nice fur and are very friendly :)

Re: Adag's Photo's
Hiya! some more photos...
First up would be a picture of food... Haha! These are Rissoles and they are DELICIOUS! I liked the photo, so here it is (PS. If you find yourself in Ballito, find a restaurant named Mozambik and order some, they are filled with grilled shrimp and if you'd like Jalapenos)
Ever thought a slug could be cute? Me neither!

Re: Adag's Photo's
Screw it... I'm Uploading to Photobucket... The site needs to work on content hosting... Its slow and annoying to upload images one by one... And the progress bar doesn't work... The 1MB file limit is too small and the 5 file limit is just... But then again... It is a forum, not an image hosting site, so I suppose it has to be that way...
The upside to living on a Plot is less traffic, the ambient noise consists of birds, frogs and crickets... And of course the running water of the dam's
But then a few times every year the downsides start to show...
For example:
Flooding....
It's not that bad today... Once it got up to that little round flat's geyser... The water got so high that it touched the top of that concrete table on the island...

It seems I did... Yes... That be my name...
It'd be way too much trouble to remove now anyway... So, I'll just leave it there...

He was making fun of the "fact" that Iwan is a Norwegian name, when it is in fact Arabic/Persian/Turkish. Nice one Contrast. (You were thinking of Ivan.)
