During a very recent D&D session, one in which I found myself about to join the party, said party was informed that six (6) people would be needed for the quest. Looking around the table, it quickly became obvious to all but the DM, that we were five (5).

After pondering our situation for a few seconds, Anoyomouse stated "We need X members for the quest, and are currently sitting at X-1, therefore upon acquiring one more member, we shall be at X." Thus proving that maths did in fact beat Hargan, and we're still waiting for a comeback...

Also, to note, I started speaking simple english, like we had to meet our fellow adventurer, so i was like "Simple greeting", "ask if want to be in the group"

yeah, it went silly, it was fun

Of course, we await the DMs reaction

I played an elven hooker once.

The most infuriating thing for me is when the heroes go bad. You've got this whole plot worked out about the Villain about to take-over/destroy the world, and he offers the heroes limitless wealth to just walk away/join him.....and the corrupt b******s agree! Gaah!

harvesting organs from every monster you kill (in the hope that they might have some use eventually) will also pretty quickly break a DM...

Last night we ended up stripping our dwarf naked and lubricating him with organs to shove him through a tiny vent to use him as a spy..... It didn't work.

Was my first actual full on game of DnD. It was more fun than I thought it would be.

The gaming section doesn't really have a humour section so I'll just leave this here as it's pertinent to DnD
