Unless it is formalized into a standard rule set, I wouldn't even bother being accurate - it's as arbitrary as they come.

It's not entirely arbitrary, Rule 34 is pretty much universally accepted. But yes, most of it is a mess.

Just to let you all know, those of you still following my post that the reason I stopped with my suit was because I was unhappy with my fursona. I have redesinged Yote and will post a new ref sheet of him here as soon as I am done. Then I will continue with my fursuit. ^.^

Looking really good! :) Can't wait to see how the head turns out.

You should post an updated version of your colour scheme, I thought the white didn't go quite as high on the face.

So I decided to do some digital drawing of my stuff today and think it doesn't look too bad, gives one a more or less idea of what I'm working to.
The pic of the head spazzed out a bit dunno whats going on there but the general idea is there

During the loadshedding I started doodling eyes and eventually ended up making the fursuit eyes. So after a while the power went back on and I could start with the furring of the head, looks rather rough but I am still going to finish it off.

I hope there is still someone following my thread

So I couldn't sleep last night, decided to go further with my head so I got up at 3 am this morning and just worked and worked on it up until now. Still needs some work, shaving, neck etc.
So for those of you who still follows this thread here are some pics.

Thank you everyone! Guess my personality got in the way lol(perfectionist) otherwise it would have been done a long time ago. I did nake some rather fatal mistakes with this head that I won't be making in the future though mainly over thought everything but I think the next one would look pretty insane.

It did come out better than I anticipated but I feel there is room for some improvement on it over time, actually making one is way easier than you would think it's just that initial jump on what to do and where to implement it that is quite staggering.

I'm going to try my best to get the suit ready for rAge(and Victor's rAge braai) this year but the cost of fur has gone up and it's getting somewhat more scarce for some reason but never the less I shall.

Made some changes to the inner structure to ease breathing in it allot, going to search for a small battery operated fan to place in the muzzle.

And next to come is the neck part

Considering re doing the eyes.

Why thank you -Blushes-

I decided to add some quite technical ventilation to the muzzle well not as technical but just a bit more advanced than your average 9v connected to a fan with a tiny switch, I'll draw up a schematic of what I am going to do on it, battery packs and so forth that charge via my pc specifically for rAge.

Basically I will have 2 9.6 volt batteries that I can rotate and charge, that can charge from a specially made port at the back of my pc for rAge specifically in mind. Give your two cents about it, I'm not planning on making changes since I think it would be a fairly good system.

Edit- Might even make this optional with future commissions

Soooooooooo. Haven't made any progress since the last photo I posted.
I have yet to figure out the body (When I have time). Going to ask my buddy Tyger's mom for help. She made dresses and such so she knows more than I do about tailoring.

My idea is basically to use cheaper material for around R11p/meter and make patterns from that, I will change it as needed to get the most ideal pattern and lastly implement it on the fur. The digi legs, I have no idea how I am going to pull that off but believe me I will.

The head is 95% complete I just need to finish the neck part but in the meanwhile here is some fun I had with the head:

your suit is really coming along nicely now, so jealous .

Look up how to make a duct tape dummy (DTD), that's the easiest way to do it with minimal measuring.

One way to do it would be to cover your legs up and make a too-big approximation of what you want out of expanding foam, and then carve it into more accurate shapes. It's super light and very easy to carve. There are lots of online guides on how to get the shape, but most of them use upholstery foam.

Decided I am going to halt the fursuit body for now, recently discovered that I am borderline obese and I plan on doing something about it. I think it will be easier to make a suit that fits rather than to customise it to fit.

If you're working on BMI then "borderline obese" is a bullshit story. But I digress. You can still make a partial.
